Oh, how cute and fluffy! This made me smile so much, I loved reading Ron and Hermione's love letters to each other! I was a little unsure about them at first, because I didn't realize they were letters. They did sound a bit odd as little speeches to each other, but they absolutely make sense as letters. Letters tend to be more formal; they really give you the chance to say things in a way you wouldn't in person.

I really liked looking in on the letters Ron and Hermione sent while they were away from each other. That's not really something I think much about, but it must have been hard on them! They went from seeing each other nearly every day for YEARS to being only able to see each other occasionally and communicate via letter. And that's just not as nice as getting to see someone in person.

I also really liked the mention of Rose and Lorcan! I haven't seen that pairing before, but I think it's a really interesting one. I'd be very interested in reading more about that couple, actually. I'm wondering how similar Lorcan is to his mother and how Ron and Hermione would react to that...

Anyway, great work! It was a lovely read :)

Hi, Caity! Here with your requested review♥

Were those letters in the beginning? I was a little confused at first, until Hermione came in and cleared it all up. I know it's really hard to do with dialogue only, but I do think you handled the transitions well! To me, Ron sounded like Ron and Hermione like Hermione, especially since you set this to where they were a little bit older.

I can't imagine being away from the one I love for a year. It must have been hard, but at least they had each other and were able to write. That definitely must have helped.

As the story progressed, it became clearer to what was going on. I think to maybe clear up the confusion, use a name in the opening paragraph? Ron's letters were so sweet to Hermione, I loved them.

The ending was really sweet! When they were talking, I wasn't confused at all and I think you did a great job with the voices. It was adorable of Lorcan to ask Ron's permission to marry Rose, and I'm sort of glad you didn't put her with Scorpius.

I enjoyed this, thanks for sharing it with me!

Aw Ron and Hermione are adorable! I love him telling her that he is always going to be there for her no matter what. No matter what time, or wherever he is. :D

Awww are those letters? Oh that's so sweet! I love that they sent each other letters of love! They're so cute aren't they? :D They bring me joy!

I love that Lorcan asked Ron first for Rose's hand in marriage, such a gentleman!

This was really sweet! I loved this :D I have such Ron and Hermione feels now.

Hi there!

I loved these sweet love letters! I've read a few of the stories from the dialogue challenge and honestly I have no idea how you manage to write such a sweet story without any descriptors! There's no way that I could manage it!

I'm usually a hit or miss with Romione because it's either done wonderfully or done horrendously. There's absolutely no in between. I'd classify this one as a hit because it is done so preciously.

I love how concerned Hermione is, constantly worrying what everyone else thinks. They were quite young, after all!

I'm guilty of this though. Maybe because it's how my teenage dating went, but I always encourage my younger friends not to get too caught up in their relationships with the sentiment that they are too young to know what love is. To me, younger kids often seem to confuse love with that rush of hormones. Love is, to me, struggling together. Facing everything life is throwing at you and relying on each other to get through. I think Ron and Hermione, even so very young, definitely meet this qualification. They have been there for each other through every single struggle and somehow managed. I think your story really does a good job showing this, especially with Ron reassuring her so much.

I always thought that year apart must have been very trying for the pair of them. I had a year apart from my husband for his job and it was absolutely excruciating for me, even though we could write letters. I have my letters in a lovely box in my office. Sometimes I flip through them, but not often anymore.

I love the ending especially. I think it's so very sweet that Lorcan is going to propose. I do think it's sweet that he asked first. My husband asked my father for my hand and my father was hilarious about it (mind you, he's in his eighties and rather old fashioned). My dad made this big deal about how I'd have a cow if I knew he'd asked for me and that I'd rant about property women and archaic traditions. I DID NOT RANT! It was very sweet though, no matter what.

I think this was a perfectly lovely story, even if it was pure dialogue. Honestly, I find the writing technique very refreshing! You did a fabulous job!
