For the HPFF Review-A-Thon

Hi, I'm Marshal (obviously)I'm here for part of the HPFF Review-A-Thon as you can already see. People are graciously donating money to keep the site alive for reviews that are left this weekend. Also I'm part of the Slytherin house on the forums where we are having an in house reviewing competition to spread the snake love.

Anyway the moment I saw this story, I knew that this was a must read for me. I mean Remus and Tonks that is an insta win. Remus is my all time favorite character and I do love the Remus/Tonks ship so needless to say them after the first moon grabbed my interest!

Admittedly there was not as much Tonks/Remus and I anticipated but that does not mean that the story wasn't good. I want to ask with you saying the first day of the moon and Remus being at Tonks' place for eight days you take that he suffers his affliction for the entire week of the full moon? It is an interesting concept. You having him a little forgetful at the start, after waking up is interesting and a unique idea. The confusion I imagine has to be hard on Remus. Also I really feel for him when he says that he worries that he'll go to hell for his misdeeds, but it was amusing that Tonks said that she would be right there to keep him company which makes me wonder a little bit about the demons in her closet so to speak. Keep writing!

Author's Response: Hi there,
Thanks for the review. Glad you liked the story. In writing this story, I did a little research and found out that the full moon is roughly a week long, and that Remus werewolf cycle ends when the moon becomes a half moon. I know that because the first Defense against the Dark Arts class took place on September 7th and sure enough the moon wasn't a full moon anymore.

Review #2, by MuggleMaybe Morning

6th March 2016:
Hello there! I'm here for the HPFF Review-A-Thon! We're trying to review as much as possible to raise money to keep this amazing site up and running.

Remus is one of my favorite characters, so I was excited to read about him and Tonks. I liked that he panics when he first sees Tonks there, because he doesn't want her to be in danger, but then he remembers he took the wolfsbane. It's nice to have that moment to show how much being a werewolf burdens him.

I never thought about the bite wound. The idea that he's in pain literally all the time is SO SAD OMG. *sobs* It's a powerful detail, though. I'm glad you included it.

You relate the story of him becoming a werewolf very nicely. I think, because we sort of know that story from cannon (kind of), it would be even better if you showed more of Tonk's reactions.

I LOVE Tonk's remark at the end, that she'll see him in the afterlife. She's devilish good fun ;)

Keep writing!

Author's Response: Hey there,

Glad you liked the story. I not sure where I got the idea about Remus' scar, I'm not really sure if I was going for physical pain, but maybe a sort of it doesn't really feel right kind of thing if that makes sense. It just sort of bothers him and he knows it's there. Anyway thanks for reading. Glad you liked it.
