REMUS/TONKS! This is so totally my OTP, and I am IN LOVE with this fic! You wrote them so well! There are a lot of people I feel just don't quite get Remus or Dora right at least not for my exceptionally picky tastes but you did it perfectly and I LOVED IT!! If you can't tell this story made me very happy!

So adorable! Squee! Okay enough raving you need more than raving in a review though having a person rave I think always feels nice. Anyway, the way you described Dora in the hospital not being comfortable was so perfect so true and so her. I also love that Andromeda is around at all times. I also like that the focus from the start is Remus - he hasn't visited and I like how you described the smell of Kingsly that was a nice touch.

Then there was the kiss, it was OMG sooo perfect!! Okay I say I wasn't going to gush but I can't help it!! I love how it came to be and I love the argument and yeah I just love this story. It is sad that their first kiss is after Sirius dies but still it makes a load of sense.

Needless to say I really really enjoyed this story and I'll be back to check if you have more of my favorite duo cause you did stellar work here!

Ok, I love me some Remus, so I was all prepared to love this tale from the moment I laid eyes on the banner and read the title.

I love how you tick off the things Tonks hates about being at St. Mungo’s and found myself chuckling at the idea that even they use the open-gown things that leaves a little too much exposed. It’s the little details like that, or her finding a loose piece of skin on her lips, or the scent of sandalwood, that makes this tale so enjoyable. You really bring the tale to life!

Andromeda was darling here, still displaying some of her upbringing. You can tell she knows something is up between those two when Remus walked in and she so gracefully takes herself out of the way. A mother’s intuition is rarely wrong!

As for Remus, I could practically feel the tension in Tonk’s stomach. Of course he was grieving Sirius’ death – his best friend, taken away too soon. Tonks’ reflection of her cousin, how she always knew he’d die young, was perfect and natural. It’s felt so right.

And I loved how Tonks called bullcrap on Remus and his ‘not deserving her’! She’s not some fragile little girl – she’s an Auror and bears the same bloodline as Sirius and Bella!

Oh, and that ending – the kiss! *squees* Love it! I just want it to go on and on!

Here from Twitter! Aw, YEAH, Remus/Tonks!

Stonking opening line. Sets the scene and reminds us of Tonks being Tonks. Stonking scene-setting, too. 'Tasted like a sponge.' Ugh, hospital food memories!

Gobstones club mixed with wine-tasting sounds worrisome. It's still sweet to see the people rallying around Tonks, especially Hagrid showing particular care, because OF COURSE Hagrid cares for EVERYONE. I don't know why I feel sorry for Kingsley, but I do.

Some gorgeous turns of phrase in this. Andromeda's aristocratic traits refusing to be 'washed with the rest of the dirty laundry' is a particularly striking one.

Very believable to imagine Remus and Tonks grew closer from Sirius' death, if only for a time (it's likely why he also started driving her away, but it'd be a complex sort of journey). And Tonks' reflections feel spot on, and probably the sort of thing Remus needs to hear. Then them bonding over hospitals is ALSO believable, and the kind of thing which didn't occur to me in this moment but I feel like it should have? Which is a sign of good writing, I reckon. ;-)

Fabulous ending. Not just for the squee factor, but Tonks outright rejecting his self-pity is very Tonks and very satisfying. Even if we know they've got a whirlwind of a year ahead of them, there had to be ups and downs (especially for them to go from 'we can't be together' to 'we're married' over about 2 months), and this is a particularly compelling up. An up with down bits. Alas, very believable for this couple.

Good stuff!

Ginaaa! ♥

(your author page so purdy)

Okay so I chose this story for a few reasons:
1. Tonks and Remus (squee!)
2. First kiss (double squee!)
3. Because it's for Chiara!

Oh God, your writing. I can't even. It is so beautiful. I wanted to sink into the screen and sob among the beautiful chosen words!

How am I meant to review when I have no words?! Er... (Gah look how inferior I am to the magnificence of this story!) Everything was just realistic. I love the little details you put in. The curse, Andromeda greeting Lupin, Sirius' death.

Also, I'm pulling this out: "She didn’t want to dishonor the fallen, but teasing Sirius felt so natural" because... because... just because.

There is nothing I didn't like about this (except the length maybe, GIVE ME MOAR), just an amazing one shot written by an amazing person.

P.S. Thank you for everything you've done in the past few days. We all love you so much.

♥ Bianca

I love the way you write Remus and Tonks. You have such a flair for writing them. A flair I don't think I have. I love the way you are able to show their emotions so well. It makes reading your stories so much more fun. I can't wait to read more of your work. I hope that you will read mine in return.

Oh, Gina! Thank you so much! *hug*
I've never received a story as a gift before, and this was just so beautiful!!! Thank you so much, my lovely Secret Cupid!!!

This could definitely be a missing moment from canon! I loved it so much!!! Remus was perfect, Dora was perfect, your writing was perfect!!! Starting from the description of her stay in the hospital. You captured the feeling perfectly (sorry for my overuse of the word perfect. It's the only way I can describe this story...)

I also loved how you wrote Andromeda. You showed so well her love for her daughter, and it was so thoughtful of her to leave them alone. :) I've always thought she wasn’t exactly accepting of their relationship, so I found this really sweet. And I loved the reference of her Black background a lot!

The melancholy as they talked about Sirius was... [insert overused word here]
I must confess, now that Dora is saying that, I can't imagine an old Sirius either. What is cruel is that he didn't live long enough to see his name cleared. He spent half his life in Azkaban for a crime he never committed, mistrusted by those who should've been his friends... Still, how could've Remus acted any differently? In my imaginary there was a part of him that always questioned Sirius' guiltiness, but I suppose he needed to, at least, have a truth to believe. I really can't blame him for that.

But I do agree with Dora that he should have more faith in people as a general rule. That there are people who can and want to accept him for what he is and love him just the same (honestly, who wouldn't love someone as adorable as him???)

I loved how clearly you showed both characters' desire and his titubance and her certainty. And the "I don't deserve you" and Dora's retort in the end... So much in character! So wonderful! And the kiss... Ah, the feels! So many feels!!!

Sorry for the way too long rambling... Hope it helped get through the message that I ADORED this story!!!

Thank you so much again and all my love!
