Review #1, by Gail Welin Christening the Library

5th May 2016:
Hi Angie!!

Alright, so today was one of those days where I thought "I really need to read and review more of Angie's stories" not just because it's a darn shame I haven't done so more often, but also because you always leave such wonderfully attentive and supportive reviews that I want to do you honour.
Also, I've been dying to read you Smut*tastic Challenge entries (because DRAMIONE, HELLO???).
And really, no one truly needs a reason to read and review anything from your AP. ♥
(but really, a hot 'n' heavy Dramione in the library? HOW COULD I RESIST FOR SO LONG??)

"I have forgotten what itís like to not be in love with you." Oh, Draco, my love for you burns like the Olympic flame. And you, Angie, just lit it. Seriously, how perfect is he; HER PRESENT IS THE BEST!!
I really loved your characterisation of Hermione, as well! Of course, her not wanting to do it against a bookshelf, but also her reaction to the first thing they did the new library were great touches! And I just love how in control she became, especially with the blindfold (great use of it, by the way!) and oh wow, she teased him (great timing for the F-word! įį).

It's tough to review smut, it's even tougher to review good smut (at least for me) because I just want to gush and don't want to admit that I forgot to blink during the read (but seriously, I forgot). You've written a very intimate, very credible scene - and considering the ToS, that doubles how amazing a feat that is!
I really love the way you build up to the actual intercourse, which in itself was only a few sentences (but hey, a quickie won't need a hundred words) because, well, foreplay is the most important part anyway :D

"He couldnít believe this woman was his." That depicted the primeval "she's my woman" (and vice-versa) and the love for his woman incredibly well. It's not for everybody, but I do think that passion is a possessive sentiment, so that sentence gave me chills (the good kind) :p

That was a wonderfully intense read and I'm incredibly looking forward to reading the other entry you submitted!

Review #2, by TheEmotionalTeaspoon Christening the Library

Yay! I was going to read one of your more recent, darker stories, but I decided it was time for some fluff instead, and I'm glad I chose this!

I absolutely love the way you write Draco, I think he's perfect for smut. He can be such a serious character, so I imagine he'd be really intense and heart melting, and you encapsulated that really well. The part where Hermione melted when Draco called her love was so sweet, somehow I can imagine him calling her that!

Also, you opened this story so perfectly, with just the right amount of detail and context. It must be quite hard to set up Dramione one shots because I guess it takes a lot of character development for them to get to a point where they're happy together. But I think you did it perfectly by setting it quite a few years after the war to give enough space for all that development to happen without forcing yourself to go into too much detail about it!

Great work!

-Kate :)

Review #3, by Secret Cupid Christening the Library

13th February 2016:
My dear Valentine,
If the sun refused to shine
If romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart
Until the end of time

I stole this poem from an online e-Valentines Card, but the sentiment rings true. Keep writing like this and Iíll keep loving you. (That rhyme was actually mine - what can I say, Iím a poet).

I thought this was an appropriate story for me to start with in my quest for your love. Itís romantic and fluffy and just gorgeous. Draco bringing Hermione into the library reminded me of that scene in Beauty and the Beast, and I like that he knows her well enough to realise this is exactly what she wants.

Hermioneís embarrassment afterwards is beautifully in character. I can imagine how shocked sheíd be with herself, but then at the same time sheís obviously just really happy to be with him.

Darling, be my Valentine,

Until next time,

Your Secret Cupid

Review #4, by ABlack Christening the Library

5th February 2016:
Hello Angie,

Iíve been waiting to read this entry since the moment you submitted it, and I have to say, the wait was well worth it. While you didnít have to necessarily include the backstory, it was great to see how these two came to be a couple. You did well incorporating your two elements. The library as a gift was sweet and made the perfect setting. That and her reaction reminded me of a certain book-loving princess who shall remain unnamed. The blindfold was handled in quite a sexy manner, particular when Hermione turned the tables and used it on Draco. Itís true that when deprived of sight, a personís other senses become more sensitive. Poor Draco!

And oh how you danced on the edge of the ToS so skillfully. There was no mistaking at any point exactly what was happening, from Hermione removing Dracoís clothes with magic to final sweet kiss he graced her forehead with.

Bravo!

~Alexis

Aditi,
Okay, so yes, I literally ran to see this Smut-tastic Dramione in the flesh, so to speak! LOL!

I think this challenge is fantastic! 8D

What Dramione fan wouldn't love intimacy in a library with a blindfold to help christen it? XD

I like how you incorporated your required elements (I'm guessing library/blindfold), especially turning the tables with that blindfold originally meant for her, only to be used on him for "other surprises." Just brilliant.

With much fan appreciation, you definitely scraped the borderline of TOS without going over... a difficult challenge, indeed.

Nicely done, enjoyable read for anyone needing a Dramione fix... Hahah! :P
Dark Whisper

Author's Response: I loved the challenge too, though writing smut on HPFF is a bit daunting, haha.

I am pleased you enjoyed the incorporation of the library and the blindfolds, and the way the tables turned.

Thank you so much, glad you had fun reading this!
