I liked to think that I'm not the ordinary sort of girl, the type that usually dated the Marauders. Although I haven't always been friendly with them (and probably wouldn't be for long) I know a lot about them. Peter went for shy Hufflepuffs, Remus liked bookish girls (usually Ravenclaws) and Sirius would take anything with a pulse and breasts (a pulse might not be necessary). James just went for Lily.
So naturally everyone was surprised when he (not telling) started dating me.
