Jamie Bontecou is a well-loved Gryffindor with lots of friends; she stays away from the Slytherins and has a nasty bite when they pick on her friends. But Jamie knows that the darkness is closing in, taking her places she never meant to go. She knew that dedicating herself to a Dark Art would eventually take its toll, but where exactly will it lead? And when she finds comfort in someone who knows the darkness well, will she be able to give him that same comfort in return? How long will it be before everyone finds out that Jamie isn’t exactly who they thought she was?
