I don't exactly know how this happened. I'm a muggle born, and he's a pure-blood. I hate him and he hates me.
So how did we get all tangled up in the same mess?
I'll blame it on Voldemort.
Too bad Harry's only a Second Year; way too young to start fighting Voldemort. I guess that just lets me blame it on him longer.
Either way, this is the kind of predicament I would have never expected anyone to be stuck in. Love is supposed to fun and obvious. This is trickery and quite unpleasant.
