The story is set twelve years after Harry, Hermione and Ron have left Hogwarts. Hermione narrates the story as a thirty year old who has left her husband and kids to save the wizarding world from Voldemort because Harry feels too defeated to do it. Most of the best-loved characters are dead and the Order of the Pheonix is in shatters. Thats the clip notes version, it sounds cliche but hey I really am no good at summeries.
