The final battle is over. Voldemort is dead. Ginny and Harry have just been married, when the ministry discovers another request of Albus Dumbledore's. It turns out Dumbledore was in the possesion of James and Lily Potter's memories. They had been discovered in their homes after the night they were killed. Harry is given the memories, under Dumbledore's request. Harry takes this memories into the pensieve and finds out things he wishes weren't true. These memories make him doubt everything he had thought about his parents.
