As you know, Harry and Snape are the worst of enemies. Harry starts it. Snape makes it worse. Then, after much disruption, Dumbledore ends it. Even after telling them not to fight, Dumbledore knows they will. Then Dumbledore, using his clever brain, forces Harry and Snape to communicate their differences through a journal that they must pass between each other instead of out loud in order to maintain peace.
