Set in the year 2017, but includes nothing futuristic. Harry's daughter, Harriette, is having problems dealing with the fact that she is a witch after she receives her first letter from Hogwarts. As the story of her first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry unfolds, Harrie, along with her best friends, Nora and Michael Weasley and Sean Finnigan, will learn many things about magic and begin to take a liking in it. She finds a ring called the Ring of Life which has the ability to cause those that are near death to have full health again, but anotther, a wizard more powerful than the dark lord himself may be after this ring. Will Harrie be able to keep the ring safe? Will she defeat the evil wizard? Will she and her friends survive?
