James chased after Lily for years, but it seemed that she would never look at any boy other than Severus Snape. James is (obviously) madly in love with her, and is suspicious of Severus and his motives for hanging out with Lily. Why did Lily end up with James and not Severus, when they were so close in their teenage years?
This is my first so probably not very good, but I am going to try.
