Orchid Lovegood - Longbottom was indeed a peculiar young lady , just as her parents were ( and very much still are ) . She had blonde hair like her mother , but instead of bright blue eyes , she had dark honey as her father . She wore her very own raddish earrings that she had made , and her mother's old cork necklace . She wore her father's old sweaters and her mother's old socks . She had to wear glasses , which was odd considering neither one of her parents had any vision problems , and loved all animals . As peculiar as she was , she was beautiful , and James Potter II knew it .
