Mercy and Nasake are twins.
Mercy means compassion in English.
Nasake means compassion in Japanese.
So what’s the story here?
Mercy can do no wrong in his parent’s eyes but Nasake never seems to be able to do well enough at anything.
All this has made her a little sensitive to criticism and so when an unknowing Oliver unloads on her his feelings she loses it, exploding in his face.
Mercy invites Oliver to spend Christmas with them...
