Just then Remus appeared across the room. Juliann could tell something was very wrong, she had only seen that look on his face once before, the day he told her that her brother had been killed.
"Where’s Sirius?" She called to him, afraid of his response. But he didn’t respond, he was trying to cross the room before he answered. That in itself was the answer.
"No, No... Remus..." Her legs fell out from under her, she felt Remus’ arms around her just in time to keep her from hitting the ground.
