Immediately following the end of book 7, this short 4 part fic acts as a more flushed out end. Don't get me wrong, I love book 7, and I was completely satisfied by the ending but I still wanted to play with it. There will be a sequel to this immediately following the 4 chapters of this one that will serve as my envisioning of a book 8.
