Jared Potter, long lost older brother of James Potter, is a death eater. Information specialist of the Dark Lord, he is proficient in both muggle and wizard torture and of extracting information. He is cold, heartless, and insensitive but a fear is eating him alive. He can't face himself and tell himself exactly what he was afraid of. This fear is only one of his many barrier he must overcome once he learns of Voldemort's plans to kill James Potter. His allegiance to the Dark Lord is questioned, his life turned upside down, and his heart torn apart.
