Elizabeth I was sitting on the throne of England and Ireland. The Christian church has gained far too much power. It was the worst time imaginable to be a witch or wizard in history, up until the late 1970’s that is. However that is quite the different story and this is the story of how Hogwarts came to be “Muggle-proof”. The year was 1576. And this is the story of the witch hunts. This story is dedicated to the people who lost their lives for being a witch. Many of the names used are that of real people unjustly executed for witchcraft.
