James Potter and Sirius Black have many people at Hogwarts wrapped around their fingers. Fifteen-year-old Guinevere Lark seems oblivious to their charms, much to their surprise. Guin is blind to the admiration from both Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, she has her eyes on another boy, Severus Snape. Yet how could he ever notice her with Lily Evans nearby? Also, there is talk of Death Eater involvement at Hogwarts. When the mysterious disappearances begin to happen, Guinevere is determined to find the cause, or Hogwarts will close and she will be forced to leave her only home.
