Hogwarts – years before Harry Potter stepped foot in – is up and running smoothly. Slughorn is the potions master & McGonagall is the Transfiguration teacher & Dumbledore is the DADA teacher – he is not yet headmaster, because this fan-fic takes place when Tom was merely – a teenager just like Harry. This book also has a bit of Hermione’s background in it , it shows where she got her witch blood.
