A new kid comes to Hogwarts. A Foreign exchange student of sorts. He comes to Hogwarts as a seventh year student. Raised by muggles and living in the midwest he's had no exposure to magic and is hopelessly behind in his studies. The first person he has the oppertunity to meet is Hagrid, who almost immediately introduces him to Harry and company. With the headmaster deceased, the war just begun, and the country in an uproar, the timing for his arrival couldn't be worse.
