No one knew that Sirius Black had a daughter, except for a select few. Up until the death of Dumbledore, Sirius' daughter has been in hiding and now that both Dumbledore and Sirius are dead, she's returning from America. Harry has to get to her before the Death Eater's do.
This might seem a bit crappy, but the story will be better and this is not for those who hate Ginny being paired up with Harry. The whole idea of Sirius Black having a daughter might be a bit cliched (over used), but...my idea is different.
