|1||Before the new.
He hadn't done anything wrong, not really. When he was a child he wished to be like his father, he rushed into the arms of Voldemort, eager for the power. However, he hadn't known what he was getting himself into, and he regretted it as much as one could regret something. He just wanted a new start, a new beginning.
Maybe, just maybe, he did have a chance.
|3||A Blonde Spiral.
A girl snorted as soon as Draco had called Daphne charming. He looked over Daphne to get a closer view of this... snorter.
|4||Skipping a Stone.
Perfect. He thought as he moved his body and threw the stone sideways. 1, 2, 3, 4, splash. Draco managed skipped the rock.
The last thought Draco Malfoy thought before he fell asleep was about the strange Greengrass girl whom he couldn't seem get out of his head.
Draco ran through the house and into the backyard where his mother sat with a woman he had never seen in his life.
“You're a right git, you know that?” Draco whispered playfully.
“How many sugars?” Draco asked sitting down at the table next to Astoria.
Astoria pulled her hair up into a bun and her spiraled fringe was left out. Some of the tiny pearls were pulled back as well and she then closed her eyes and lay down on her stomach next to Draco. His legs were crossed and he started to pick at the grass just as Astoria had. The breeze started to pick up a bit and he tossed the grass into the air and then it fluttered onto Astoria's face. She scrunched up her nose and shook it off, smiling.
Draco felt odd, he didn’t know what she was getting to, but the way she was talking made him feel nervous.
Astoria’s beauty was very obvious, but her personality, was even more radiant, she was everything Draco wanted.
“We were having a drink and a nice talk.” Draco said smoothly, “Until you came here and ruined it.”
“How do you know that name?” Draco asked nervously.
|15||The Unwanted Letter.
Here I go, off to my doom. Draco thought as he walked out of the front door and into the bright afternoon.
“What is your plan....?” Draco asked slowly.
“Maybe the Weaselby’s will know where he is...” Draco mumbled to himself. He couldn’t have Astoria getting hurt.
She was an obdurate psychopath, of course, no one could doubt that.
|19||The True Enemy.
“Malfoy.” Potter called seriously from where he was seated.
|20||A Turn of Events.
“Draco! There you are!” Draco heard Astoria’s voice and he turned and she ran towards him, he long burgundy gown flowing behind her. It was like an eighteenth century ball gown, except less elaborate and pouffy.
|21||17 Years Later.
“Dad?!” Draco heard from behind and he turned slowly around to see his son calling him.
