Alana is heading for Hogwarts, and on the train she meets some very interesting people. However, Hermione gave Alana a book before she boarded the train. She gave her a book she already had with her. Why? Could it mean something?

Before she knew it, the old, dirty hat was placed on her head. She jumped when she heard the voice talking to her inside her head. It was only talking to her. “Hmmm… Another Granger.. Hmmm.”
"But if you want to pass this class, dearie, then you have to let me read your fortune. Don't be stubborn like your mother."
Emmeline kept rubbing her back. "Don't worry about that. Everything will get better. I promise."

Her fingers stopped on a little brown book that was twice as small as the ones next to it. She didn't know why her fingers stopped there, but she took that as a sign to pick out that book.
She was distracted from her thoughts when she saw something golden from the corner of her eye. She looked down and near the floor and saw the snitch grazing the grass across from the captains. She looked over at the Slytherin boy who was watching her carefully and she smirked at him. She slowly waved 'good-bye' to him and flew her broom down to the ground.
She noticed people staring at her if she were a freak, but she couldn't care less. She couldn't get the image of them out of her head, no matter how hard she tried. She felt her makeup start running down her face, but she didn't bother wiping it. She didn't care.

She read the last sentence of the book, and continued to the piece of parchment. "But the one who will be able to defeat him is the one who..."

"Something is wrong," Alana said, "and I have a really bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I think it has something to do with Ravenclaw's prediction..."

Alana's mind instantly went to Rowena Ravenclaw's prediction. She predicted that he would come back...she now understood - by 'he' she meant Voldemort.
