This is a stand-alone story, adding canon HP characters further into the chapters, who are more of a supporting role in Nyah’s life versus the spotlight.   Not (necessarily) DH epilogue compliant. This story doesn’t change anything in the epilogue … it would be adding to it. You’ll have to read to find out … <wink>

With a little help from Mrs. Cleary - and a lot of help from Anna - Nyah's on her way ... but is someone watching?

“Okay … no big deal,” Nyah told herself taking a deep breath. “You got out without getting caught … you can get back in the same way.” 

Nyah's return from the party doesn't go as smoothly as she had hoped.  There are always punishments for disobeying Mother ... but has she taken it too far this time?

“Magic … magic … did she just say magic?” Nyah thought to herself. “Mrs. Cleary … what do you mean … magic?” With that spoken word, Nyah felt her heart give a lurch … like it was waking up from a really long sleep.

What secrets will Nyah uncover in the tiny box?  And will the surprise visitors bring freedom - or disaster?

The school officials have arrived, ready, willing, and able to take Nyah with them and all Mother had to do was sign and Nyah was free ... free!
