But this is a new beginning.Rejected and disowned by her magic-fearing family, Elyssa Haydock comes to Hogwarts to find sanctuary. During her first year at school she not only finds sanctuary, but people to call family and also learns that the path of love is a rocky one.

Elyssa has Transfiguration class and discovers she has a new enemy.

Elyssa tells Hermione, who confirms what they were both thinking, and has Elementals

Elyssa is attacked by Ginny and the twins and goes to her first dance lesson.

Elyssa is cheered up by her friends.

Elyssa hears things in the hallway one day as she heads back from dance.
