Harry looked up at Lupin...'Why?' He thought to himself 'Why did he come back now?'
" Why did you come back?" He asked Lupin quietly.
Lupin put down the papers he was reading and said " Why what, Mr. Potter ?"
Harry gulped and said again "Why did you come back?"
Lupin sighed and said solidly " I wanted to. I like it here."
Harry's breathing sped up as he questioned "You know as well as I do that thats not true. Why did you come back to Hogwarts after 4 years?" (I think)
Lupin grinned slightly and said with a amused tone in his voice " Okay...I will tell you if you promise to shut up and NOT tell a soul...including Ron and Hermione."
With that Harry stared and didnt say anything.
"Well?" said Lupin grinning at Harry "Would you tell some one?".
Harry swallowed and whispered more than said "No"
"Good!" said Lupin "I would be very dissapointed if you told though...."
Harry stared at Lupin and said quizzically "Well? Why?"
"Because its my daughters first year here and she wanted to feel safer with her father here. There thats the secret." said Lupin in a teasing, yet serious manner.
"Really? Thats it?" Harry asked confused
"Yep, you wanted to know and I told you. You may leave detention now." Lupin said smiling. Harry looked down at his parchment and saw that he had written "I will not over sleep ever again" 400 times. Harry got up and put the piece of parchment on Lupin's desk and walk away. right before he left the room he heard
"Mr. Potter" He looked back at Lupin. Lupin smiled and said
"And you can tell anyone you wish." And with that Harry left...happy.
