The Story summary comes from the song - How we Roll by Loick Essien feat Tanya Lacey, I heard the lyrics and knew it would be perfect for this!
Theodore Nott woke up struggling for breath and sweating profusely, as he looked around him as though searching for someone who should have been there. When he realised that he was alone, he put his head in his hands for a while as he attempted to calm his breaths.
She had been in his dream again, he wasn't sure what else had happened or why he woke up continuously, sitting bolt right up in bed and struggling to breathe, all he could remember was her. He had been dreaming of this mysterious woman for a while now and each time he would wake up in the same way. Who was she? What did she want?
Theo stood up, his entire body feeling weak as he walked slowly to his bathroom, turning his shower on cold before taking off his clothes and climbing in. The chill of the water woke him up and he let his mind calm down, struggling to not think of her.
He didn't know this woman, he had no clue just who she might be, all he knew was that she had been haunting his dreams and thoughts for quite a while now and he wanted to find her, he just didn't know how.
He just hoped that he could make himself drunk enough tonight, whilst he was out with his friends, to pass out without having any dreams, he needed to sleep; it was beginning to exhaust him. He hated waking up so much, it was beginning to affect his work and his colleagues had commented many a time about how tired he looked and how distracted he seemed to be lately.
Shutting off the water, he moved out of the shower and grabbed for a towel to wrap around him as he moved out of the bathroom and back into his bedroom, not knowing what he was going to do until he needed to meet up with his friends later. He would probably spend his time thinking about this mysterious woman, he hoped that he would work out why he was dreaming of her before he drove himself crazy.
“Theo,” Blaise called, waving Theodore over to his table, Theo gave him a smile before walking over to him from the bar, a tumbler of amber liquid in his hand as he moved through the crowds of people and over to where Blaise was sat.
“You look like shit, mate,” Blaise told Theo as he took a seat and placed his glass down on the table.
“As always, Blaise, it is lovely to see you,” Theo told him with a shake of his head but a grin crossing his face.
“I think you might have to buy one of those sleeping potions, have you slept at all since the last time I saw you?”
Theo shook his head and took a sip of his drink, feeling a familiar burning sliding down his throat as he glanced across the room, noticing Draco Malfoy arriving, he waved his hand as Draco looked around the room and saw them, before he headed over to the bar to get his own drink.
Theo grabbed for his own drink again and looked back up as he brought the drink to his lips ready to take a sip of the amber liquid inside the glass tumbler, when he stopped suddenly and felt his stomach flip uncertainly. It was her.
She was standing at the bar, she was here, and she was looking right at him.
"Theo," He heard Blaise say to him, which pulled Theo out of some sort of a trance that he didn't even know he had been in, Theo blinked before turning to look at Blaise, realising that he was standing up, he didn't remember getting up from the seat. "Where are you going?"
Theo shook his head before looking back at the bar where the woman was, or had been. He noticed in worry that she had gone, he needed to find her, and he needed to find who she was and why he was so drawn to her.
Without another word at his friend, he left the table and moved across the crowded room, his eyes searching the room for any sign of her.
He spotted her nearing the door that would exit the building and he hurried his pace to catch up with her, he didn’t want to lose sight of her, he didn’t want to lose her.
He pushed the doors open and walked out into the chilly air, not really caring that the chill was biting at the uncovered skin on his arms, his coat having been left and forgotten in the pub with his friends.
Theo let out a frustrated sigh as he looked around quickly, he couldn’t lose sight of her, and he didn’t know what he would do. The panic that was beginning to rise in his throat stopped as he looked to his right and saw that she was standing against a wall and looking over at him, as though she had been waiting for him to arrive, he glanced around himself to check that they were alone, there were a few drunken patrons of the pub enjoying a cigarette and laughing loudly at some joke that Theo didn’t hear, but other than that no one was around to notice them.
Theo thought long and hard about what he might say in those few seconds that it took to make his way over to her, but all of his ideas went straight out of his head as he neared her, taking in her natural beauty as she stood in front of him, a coy smile across her tainted red lips as she looked at him expectantly.
“Who are you?” he asked her quickly, the words slipping from his lips before he could stop them.
She licked her lips as she cocked her head to the side, pushing her long dark red hair behind her ear as she looked him up and down, Theo couldn’t help but watch her every movement, as though he were hypnotised by her.
“Willow,” she told him softly, “If you’re lucky I might tell you my full name.” It was barely more than a whisper, but Theo heard it as though it were music to his ears, as though she were the only thing that mattered, he wanted to hear her talk more, her voice as enrapturing as her beauty.
“Do you live around here?” he asked her, wanting to ask her why she was visiting him in his dreams, why he woke up thinking of her, why he couldn’t stop picturing her in his head every day, why she had affected his life in such a big way and he had only just met her, it didn’t make sense.
Willow smirked again and bit her lip, Theo’s eyes were drawn to her red lips and he wanted nothing more than to kiss them. He had never felt the urge to kiss someone so intensely before and he knew that he would be too forward if he even tried. He would have cursed himself for thinking such things and wanting to act anything but gentlemanly with a woman that he barely knew at all, but he couldn’t seem to form any coherent thoughts that weren’t of kissing her roughly. He couldn’t understand why he was bombarded with such thoughts, why he felt like his body was taking over before his mind had a chance to work out just what it was the he was feeling so intense, he knew that he should walk away from her, he knew that it was her that was beginning to cloud his judgement, but he just couldn’t force himself to move, it was like he was under some sort of spell.
“I don’t come from around here,” she told him, inching closer to him, her own face mere centimetres from his own, her sweet perfume intoxicated his lungs and he was struggling to breathe, but he couldn’t move away from her.
“Where do you come from?” he asked her, eyes glancing back down to her blood red lips, wanting nothing more than to feel them on his own.
She smirked again before looking over Theo’s shoulder; he didn’t turn around, still captured by her spell. “How about we go somewhere a little more private,” She told him. Theodore nodded at her words, wondering just where this private place could be.
“Take me back to your place.”
Theo didn’t need to be told twice, as though it wasn’t him that was controlling his body, he took her hand and pulled her away from the pub and down the street, grabbing for his wand so that he could apparate them to his place.
Within moments of arriving in the front room of Theo’s flat, they were joined at the lips, Theo was unsure how it happened or just who initiated the kiss, but he found that he couldn’t and didn’t want to stop it.
His thoughts were blurring and his head was spinning as they made their way from the front room and to the bedroom, not stopping their kissing. Is this why he had been dreaming of her?
“I’ve wanted to meet you for some time now,” Theo mumbled as his knees hit the edge of his bed. Willow pulled away from him and smiled.
“I know you have,” She stated before pushing Theo on top of the bed. Theo gave a small frown at her words, had she known that he had been dreaming of her? Had she known that she was all he thought about even though he had only just met her? He didn’t have long to process her words before she climbed on top of him and kissed him again, he felt his brain go to mush and a strange sort of tiredness beginning to seep over him.
“I... er...” Theo began, feeling his eyes closing despite himself; he was struggling to keep his eyes open as tiredness unlike one he had ever felt before was beginning to wash over him. He shook his head to try and wake himself up as Willow moved away and watched him in concern.
“What’s the matter?” She asked him, leaning back down to kiss him on the lips, Theo kissed her back for a few more moments and felt his eyes closing again, the tiredness beginning to take him under.
“I... I...” He muttered against her lips before he closed his eyes and succumbed to the darkness that had been trying to take over him.
Willow moved away from him and saw that he had fallen asleep, a dark smirk crossing her face as she took in his sleeping form. She moved off of him and sat on the bed next to him, moving her hands to touch the sides of his head, before she closed her eyes and willed his dreams to come to her, to feed her.
It was why she had found him weeks ago; it was why he was making her dream of her. She had planned this for a while now, he was a powerfully magical wizard, this meant that his dreams would be far more efficient at starving off her hunger; she couldn’t pass up a chance like this.
She certainly wasn't going to leave until she had taken all of his dreams. She knew that she was going to stay around Theo for quite some time now.
