"It was a beautiful wedding wasn't it?" said Lily who was beginning to become misty eye.
"I wish I could have been there." said Layla
"Me too."
"The Lilies were a nice touch weren't they?"
"Yeah they were, but I wish I could have been there." Lily now had a few tears coming
down her face.
"Come on Lily. Don't cry." said James who picked her up and held her.
"James I.... I........ I was supposed to be maid of honor."
"And I was supposed to be best man, but I must say that our son made a fine substitute"
"He did, didn't he?" said Lily who was drying her eyes. "I can't believe Joann didn't show
up though."
"She wasn't invited." said Layla
"I don't blame Elizabeth for not inviting her. After everything Joann did to her."
"I know"
"I know"
There was a long and awkward pause. And James decided to change the subject.
"So Lily, you never actually told me what you told Harry."
"And you decide to ask me that now after 9 months?"
"Yeah I guess. But what did you tell him??"
"I told him, well, everything."
"Well what's everything?"
"You want me to tell you exactly what happened don't you?"
"You got that right!"
"Come on Lily spill!" said Layla who had been just as curious as James over the past few
months. They had both agreed not to say anything for awhile, because Lily had been so
upset when she got back.
"Alright, it might take awhile thought."
"We have all the time in the world!" said Layla
And Lily began to tell Layla and James everything she had told her son.
