It was strange, being civil with Louis. Perhaps more civil than I had expected, to be quite honest... we had an amazing night at the lake. And, before you ask, NO WE DID NOT GO AT IT. We swam for a while, him in his shorts with no shirt (And oh, my Merlin...), but I was in all of my clothes, not necessarily willing to swim around in my bra and knickers in front of Louis Weasley. We had thrown each other under the water multiple times, and finally, we just layed under the giant oak tree, watching the stars.

And, my dear friends, that's where we are now.

The stars were out tonight, and they were bright and glowing, reflecting off of my wet skin. They lit up the night sky in a way of perfection, and it was beautiful.

I prayed to Merlin that Louis wasn't over there stealing glances at my glowing skin. This was a one time deal thing to make me feel better. Nothing more, nothing less. End of discussion, goodbye, the end.

I think.

I felt Louis shift next to me, his arm brushing mine lightly.

My arm felt as if it had burst into flames where his had touched mine. It was warm and gave me a bubbly feeling I loved.

I felt my lips smile, just a little.

I hoped it was an accident he had brushed arms with me... I hope it was.

Well, my head was saying I hoped it was an accident. My damn hormones and heart were telling me otherwise, as my arm tingled and felt abandoned by the warmth of his arms, wishing they were around me.

The breeze picked up, and I shivered ever so slightly. Louis must have noticed, because he sat up and pulled over his sweatshirt that was laying on the ground with his shirt, and offered it to me. I smiled slightly.

"Louis, I don't-" I tried to deny his offer, but he cut me off, shoving the sweatshirt in my arms.

"Don't say you don't want it and you're not cold, S'Mae," he smiles.

Smiling, I slipped it on, pulling my wet hair out of the inside of it and tying it in a high pony tail, avoiding the water that was dripping from my hair onto the sweatshirt.

I felt Louis' gaze on me, and, to my surprise, I found myself being cocky again, as I always seem to be.

"What, Weasley? If you want me, just ask," I smirk triumphantly, pulling one of his lines that he's used on me in various occasions.

Smirking back, Louis locked eyes with me, and said," I wouldn't be so cocky, Malfoy. What if I just do?"

The smirk wiped off of my face for nothing more than a second.

Was he serious? No, he couldn't be. Could he? No one likes me. My only friends are Albus and Lucy, not including my bloody cousin/brother Scorp. I didn't have friends other than them; although I'm sure they accounted for a million. Each.

My smirk appeared once again, and with all the dignity I had left after being thrown off guard, I shot back.

"That'd be too bad, Louis, because there is no way the feeling would be mutual."

It was his turn to be thrown off guard.

But only for a second.

Because his smirk had been replaced by a sarcastic, down fallen face.

"Oi, Malfoy, right where it hurts," he cries, gripping at his heart over dramatically. "I'm not sure I can take any of those Love-Bites."

Love-Bites? What the sodding hell?

"Love-Bites?" I ask, over all curiousness taking over.

"Yes. That's what we 'Puffs call them. It's when you're stung hard by love, basically getting slapped clear across the face, but the slap can be like a 'I just seriously screwed up' or a 'Holy Merlin, I love her/him'."

I nodded, understanding now.

That was definetely a different name, love-Bites. It was unique, different...

Kind of like Louis.

Wait, what?!

WHAT?!

What is with me lately!

What the sodding hell?!

I'm losing it.

Louis looked over at me, and pulled out his wand. He turned to face the trunk of the tree, looking at it with that Weasley sparkle in his eyes.

"Reveal your secrets," he mutters, pointing the tip of his glowing wand towards the trunk of the tree.

I was just about to ask him what the bloody hell he was playing at when I saw the tree faintly glow. My eyes widened, and I scooted closer to him, in the direction of the glowing part of the trunk. The bark was glowing a bright white that stung my eyes in the dark of the night, contrasting greatly. I squint, and when the light fades, I gasp in shock by what the tree had to reveal.

Engravements that were obviously magical ones appeared all over the trunk of the oak tree. There were so many that I couldn't count them all. I studied each one, looking for any significant enravements that caught my eye.

That's when my eyes landed on it.

JP+SB+RL+PP= Marauders, 1975

Right along the engravement, as well, was a scratch going underneath it.

Werewolf scatches. Remus Lupin.

Louis must have seen it as well, because we both reached out to touch it at the same moment, his hand landing on top of mine.

Blushing furiously, I pulled my hand away. He quickly followed suit. After watching for a few moments, making sure he wasn't going to reach out again, I put my fingers against the engravement, tracing over it ever so slowly. My fingers stopped at the inticials 'SB'.

Sirius Black.

He was my... cousin? Yes, second cousin, if I'm not mistaken. He was first cousins with my mother, I believe, so that only made sense. Oh, did I mention I was also related to Teddy and Freddy? Teddy was because of Andromeda is my aunt, and Nymphadora was my cousin.. so Teddy was my second cousin... and Johnson, as in Angelina Johnson, has a relation to us that I'm not quite sure of. Angelina is now a Weasley, obviously, but she was a Johnson.

HAHA, TEDDY AND FREDDY. THAT RHYMES!!!!!!

Oh, and Roxanne... but that doesn't rhyme...

I wish it did...

Right, back on topic.

Louis reaches out, and traces JP and RL. James Potter and Remus Lupin. I know they both mean a lot to the Wotters, even if Louis wasn't necessarily related by blood. Albus, Lily and James, however, were.

ALBUS!

I jumped up, catching Louis by surprise. He stood quickly as well.

"C'mon! Go get James and Lily, I'll go get Albus. I'm sure they want to see this," I gush.

An unfamiliar look crossed Louis's face that I didn't recognize, but I was all too wound up to take notice.

"Erm- how? I'm a Hufflepuff, Malfoy. I can't get into the Gryffies' Common Rooms," he says.

"Back on last name terms, are we? Find a way, Weasley. You're a Weasley. You have HOW many cousins in that tower? Figure it out," I snap, before turning away.

I sprint up to the castle, and before I know it, I was at Albus's bedside, shaking his shirtless body. It was so warm, and built, and strong and.... Okay, not now. Now is not the time to be hitting on my best mate. I continue to shake Albus.

"OIereiroem," Albus mutters into his pillow.

"Albus! Get up! I have to show you something- it's important!" I whisper furiously, pulling on Albus's hand to try and drag him out of bed.

Now, being as Albus was twice my side, I had no such luck.

"Ablus!" I snap, smacking his warm back.

"Okay, S'mae, whaddayawann?" he moans, sitting up and searching for his glasses on his nightstand.

"To show you something! Now slip on a jumper and lets go!" I rush him, scattering throughout his room in search for a jumper for him. He slips it on all too slowly, and began searching for his shoes.

"Oi! Slow poke! Just leave the blasted shoes and lets get a move on!" I whisper, the 's' in every word hissing. What? When I whisper, I put emphasis on my 's'... it's not my fault... DON'T JUDGE!!

Giving up, I take Albus's hand, and began out the door.

Hauling his slow, sleep deprived arse down the halls, I finally make it out to the tree, where Louis already had James and Lily.

Albus, at the sight of his siblings, instantly woke, and grabbed my hand for the first time that night.

"What's wrong? Who died? I told Roxanne to kill Freddy, but I didn't really mean it!" Albus gushed, still half asleep.

"No one died, Albus. It's a surprise, a good one at that," I reply, running down to the tree.

Even in the dark, I saw James scowl at my presense.

And, being the nasty Slytherin/Lestrange I am, I scowled back, sticking out my tounge, oh so maturally.

I walk up next to Louis, and Louis lets me do the honors.

"Reveal your secrets," I mutter, pointing my elm wand at the bark of the oak tree.

Albus gripped my hand with anxiousness, much as he did whenever he didn't know what was going on and wanted to know desperately.

The lighting faded, and the etches appeared.

Lily was the first one to see it.

"OH MY BLOODY MERLIN FUCKING HELL!" the small 14 year old squeals.

She points at the engravement in the tree, and began tracing over the werewolf scratches going underneath it, her eyes wide with realization of who did that. And Albus, without dropping my hand, he dragged me over, right inbetween him and James (which was pretty awkward), and traced the engravement in awe.

JP+SB+RL+PP= Marauders, 1975

Lily started crying, and, to much of my surprise, leaned back on me, fully aware it was me standing there. I held her as she cried, and she whispered into my hair, "Thank you."

I was about to deny her and tell them it was Louis, not me, but I had recieved a look of warning from Louis, telling me to go with it.

What was he on about?

"You're welcome, Lily," I say quietly, holding her.

"It's Lils," she says approvingly.

Now, that right there, caught me off guard.

James turned back to face me.

"I'll give it to you, Le- Malfoy," he says, correcting himself, "but I'm not going to give in like Lily. Yes, you could've only had shown Albus, and you sent for us, but still."

I nodded in understandment, and look over at Albus. His eyes, oh, his eyes. He looked so... in love.

He came up, and hugged me from behind, around my waist. I leaned my head into Lily, and Albus had his head in my hair, his breath a bit shaky. Oh, Albus, always has been the emotional type.

I didn't love Albus in that way, but he was still my brother, and I didn't mind him hugging me like this every now and then.

I look over at James, who, torn, came over and hugged from behind Lily, and his arms holding Albus's shoulders, refusing to hold onto me.

And, I respected that.

Louis stood in the shadows, smiling at us. I mouthed 'Thank you' to him. He smiled.

Then, he smirked, winked, and mouthed back, 'You owe me'.

Well, the nice Weasley was good while he lasted.

After sitting for a while, the Potters departed back to bed. Albus offered to carry me, but I refused and said I wanted to stay out here for a while alone. Respecting that, yet giving me an odd look, he retreated to the castle in the company of his brother and sister.

When they were surely gone, I realize Louis was still standing there, leaning against the tree oh-so-casually in a hauntiness way. I shook my head, laughing at him. But I never tore my eyes away from him.

"Malfoy, if you want me, all you have to do is ask," he smirks his Potter smirk (which was strange, given he was a Wealsey) and I just smirk back, shaking my head as if he was a disappointment.

"What, too afraid to admit it?" Louis asks, walking closer and closer by the second, slowly but surely.

"Hmm, I can't be afraid to admit something that I don't have," I spat, but I was still smiling a bit with a hint of a smirk. He lets out a long whistle.

"Low blow there, Malfoy," he whispers.

He was close now. So close I could feel his body heat radiating off of him in the cold night, his breath tickling my face.

"Look who's talking."

We stand there for a long time before heading back.

And, it wasn't until I was laying under my covers that morning that I realized I had gained three things that night.

Two friends,

And a serious Love-Bite.

"SOPHIA MAE MALFOY!" I hear Lucy's voice screech.

Wait, what? How was she in here?

Oi, never mind...

"Wassgoinon?" I sit bolt upright, rubbing my eyes clean of sleep.

"What's going on is that you have quidditch try-outs in ten minutes," Lucy snaps.

WHAT?!

I fly out of bed, launching to my closet and quickly snatching my quiddtich robes out of it and throwing them on.

I run behind Lucy, who was dragging my broom while I pulled my hair up frantically and fixed my robes up. We make it to the pitch with seconds to spare. And, Merlin, was I sleep deprived. I had bags under my eyes and I walked with a horrible posture. I couldn't help it; I'd been up all night with Louis.

Woah, that sounded wrong...

I walk up next to Albus, who was giving me a nasty glare. I ignore him.

"Right, you lot," Scorpius, who had been made captain this year, began his speech. "We have our three chasers: S'Mae, Zabini and Scamander. We have One Beater: Me. We have our seeker: Potter. This year, we are in need of a Beater and a Keeper. So, I hope you lot came here to win a spot as a keeper or beater, because any other position, you're in no luck."

Woah, Scorp, don't go over-encouraging on the poor children...

That, right there? Yeah, that was sarcasm.

Let's just say, I didn't pay any attention to try outs. I sat on my broom, hovering in the air next to Lysander Scamander. He was Luna Lovegood-Scamander's son, and Lorcan's twin. He was tall and not big, but not too scawny and bony. He had silver eyes that were piercing and above all beautiful. His white hair that was the same shade as his mother's was a nice length, and always sat perfectly on his head. He was so sweet and bloody hilarious. He had a knack for pointing out even the strangest of creatures. Like, in first year, he came up to me and...

Wait! Back on topic!

I'm at a quidditch try out here, and the last thing I need is a bludger to the head before the season even starts.

Pft, who am I kidding? I never pay attention to these stupid things. I've been a permanent since my third year, and that's how it's always going to be.

"Oi! Malfoy! You in there?" Lysander asks, waving his hand in front of my face, making me blush furiously.

"Was I really that out of it?" I ask.

"Love, you looked as if you'd just seen Ably Welby with no shirt on," Sacamander informs me, using the emberassing nickname Albus had gotten from Lysander and I in second year.

I smirk.

"Well, I must have looked pretty terrified then, if I do say so myself."

I got him there.

What now, Scamander?

"Yes, but if it were me you'd be drooling," he shoots back.

Now, normally, I would oppose. But I found no sense in lying. I was in a sarcastic mood today.

"Yes, Scamander, then I would have jumped into your arms and kiss you," I say, in a sarcastic tone (which you probably were already aware of).

"And I would have enjoyed every second of that," Scamander says, before flying off.

Yeah, he....

WHAT?!

WHAT?!

DID HE JUST SAY HE WOULD ENJOY KISSING ME!!?

WHAT. THE. MERLIN?!

Bloody Hell...

The rest of quidditch practice went quick and easy. McLaggen was assigned keeper, Karnse is our new beater. Honestly, I hadn't been paying any attention to the load of it, so I can't tell you how well they played.

DON'T JUDGE! It's not my fault I have a serious problem...

Seriously!

Okay, so it IS my fault... what's your fucking point?!

I showered quickly, changing into a comfortable long sleeve silver shirt that was skin tight, and some skinny jeans. Some people call it slutty. But, I go by american standards... even though I'm 110% britain.

AGAIN, DON'T JUDGE! I'M NOT A SLUT OR A WHORE SO DON'T EVEN THINK IT!

STOP THINKING IT!

I walk out of the shower room and smack into someone, my head banging off their collar bone. Damn, I'm short. I look up to see a smirking Louis Weasley standing over me. I scowl.

"What are you doing here, Weasley? You're a bloody hufflepuff!"

"Why, thank you for that obvious statement, Slytherin. Hufflepuff has the pitch next, and I came a bit early because Finnegan asked me to help set up. Unlike you, I'm kind and will get off my lazy arse to do something."

Oh, cold Weasley.

"Low hit, Weasley. Low hit," I say, whilst rubbing my forehead. Louis's smirk disappeared, and his eyes filled with concern.

"Did I seriously hurt you?" his voice was a bit high pitched.

No, it didn't hurt. But why not milk it a bit? As muggles say... I think... they're messed up beings.

Don't worry, loves, I'm not going all pureblood ninja on you. Just stating the obvious...

"Kind of, yeah. Who knew your collar bone was as hard as your fat head," Okay, so I'm not sweet. Whatever.

"Ha, ha. Very funny, Malfoy. Now, lemme see your that head of yours," his voice dripped with sarcasm as he took my hands, removed them from my forehead, and looked.

I watched his big blue eyes examine me closely, his expression changing every so often. At one point, I realized Louis had found me staring, because he smirked a tad bit, and I smacked him in the chest, shoving him away.

"You're such a git, Weasley," I laugh.

"Likewise, love. Likewise," he closes, stalking away.

I begin to turn away when Louis calls back.

"Oi! Malfoy! You should change before That cousin... or brother, whatever you prefer... of yours sees you. The bloke will have a heart attack and will force you to change," he calls. Then, he disappears around the corner.

Why would Scorpius... Oh. Wait. I'm in a skin tight long sleeve shirt that's considered slutty... and Louis noticed.

Bloody hell.

I turn, smiling insanely at myself, to find Albus lounging back against the side of the showerroom walls, his right foot resting on the wall and his arms crossed over his chest. He had this knowing look on his face, and I can't say I enjoy it.

"I see you and Louis aren't all you seem to be?" he asks. I stare at him in confusion for a moment, and then roll my eyes, before stomping away.

I knew Albus would follow, so I don't even bother looking behind me as I climb the staircase into the castle. I hear Albus's footsteps behind me, quickly catching up.

Fuck right, I told you. Am I just the most amazing friend or what?

Okay, so maybe I'm not... don't give me that look!

"Seriously, S'Mae. What was that?" he asks me, his eyes wide as saucers on his oh-so-innocent face.

I turn around to face him, and he nearly walks into me. We're within centimeters of each other's faces, but I don't care. It doens't truly bother me in any way.

"It was me and Louis Weasley being civil. I thought you and that twat I call my best friend wanted it this way? So it is," I say, my anger growing quickly.

It wasn't that I was angry, more or less irritated. I was just sick and tired of them being shocked when I become civil with someone. I mean, I just can't wait to hear Albus and Lucy questioning me on Lily and I becoming civil. I will more than likely go insane on their asses, screaming like Scorpius when you steal his razor after he puts on shaving cream...

What can I say? I'm in a sarcastic, arrogant, honest-to-Merlin kind of mood today. I will be spontanious, and will go physco on your ass...

"Well, yeah, but... we just thought you and Louis would be the hardest of all to get to be civil," he says in a shocked voice. I shake my head.. my nose brushing his.

"You want to know the one that will be the hardest to accept me? The one that is named after my cousin, mate. Not Louis," I inform Albus in a matter-of-fact tone. He rolls his eyes at me, and gives me the finger.

Attractive, Alby. Real attractive.

"It's true, you and I both know it," I point a finger at him, and bounce away, with a skip to my step.

Don't ask why; I don't even know.

We walk back to the common room in silence. I felt my legs slowly giving out, and I was shaking as I walked. Albus seemed to notice, because he came from behind me and picked me up bridal-style, carrying me back the rest of the way. He threw me down on a couch, and dropped into another. I felt someone stir beneath me, and I look up to find Lucy sitting there.

"Exactly how did you get in here?" I ask laughing, amazed by her. She really was something, let me tell you.

She shrugged, and began tending to her finger nails. I roll my eyes, and sit up so I was directly next to her. I felt like we hadn't talked in a while... and we needed...

"Lucy! You want to have a girl night tonight?" I shoot randomly, earning an odd look from Albus.

Lucy, on the other hand, looked joyed. Her eyes lit up like a little kid's on Christmas morning, and she squealed.

"Yes! Yes, yes, yes! Oh! This is going to be so much fun! You can come over to my dorm, and you can bunk with me! Don't worry; it's only Lily, Dom and Roxanne in there with me. I know, Roxi doesn't like you, but whatever. Lily would love it. We can be in our pj's and do each other's nails and eat chocolate and talk about boys and eat chocolate ice cream and plan a little more for Christmas plans and eat chocolate cake and -"

"Okay!" I disrupt her, laughing my arse off. She enjoys being dramatic, that girl...

"Sorry! I'm just so excited!" she squeals, pouncing on top of me.

After that not so comfortable hug, her eyes grew wide, and she stared at me.

"What?" I ask, alarmed.

"Come with me," she says, and, before I could even respond, I was pulled to my feet and was running behind her. I wave to Albus, and run with Lucy down the corridors.

"Lucy! Where are we going?" I call to her, but she doesn't respond, she just keeps going.

Eventually, I figured out we were going to her Common Room, and I try to fight away, but the damn girl is too scary for me to. She'd fall into hysteria if I got away, and would probably drown me in the Black Lake and feed me to squidward.

What? I'm not allowed to name the giant squid?

DON"T JUDGE!

She screams the password to a rather startled fat lady, and flings me up the stairs to the fourth year girls' dormitories.

And bursts into a room that had Lily lounging across a gold and red bed, her head dangling off the side, red hair touching the floor, as she read a magazine. Startled, Lily screams, and falls off the bed, moaning as she hits the ground with a hard 'thud'. I tried hard, so hard not to laugh, but when Lucy did, I couldn't help myself. I exploded with laughter, doubled over, clutching my stomach. Lily was red in the face, and started screaming at us, but damn it was too funny.

After we calm down, Lucy seemed to remember why she brought me up here, because she called a meeting on Lily's bed. So, we all clamber on, and look at Lucy, expectantly.

"Right, you lot. This is phase two of mission 'Have SML Over For Christmas Plan'. Your parents, S'Mae, already said you could stay, but the problem is my family. I think, that you would either be safest at Uncle Harry's or Uncle Bill's," Lucy begins, a serious look on her face.

"Oh! If you come over to my house, we can hide you in my room! Albus will help hide you, and if James discovers you, he won't snitch. My dad is fine with you.... but my mum... oh, my mum," Lily trails off, obvious that she was defeated.

"Yes, Auntie Ginny. But, if we ship you off to Uncle Bill and Auntie Fleur's, they have no problem with you. And Dominique would be so excited, not to mention Victoire. Louis wouldn't be too fond, but he promised to be civil," Lucy deepens.

Don't ask me why, but the mention of Louis' name gave me a serious squirmy feeling in the pit of my stomach...

We all maul it over in our heads, repeatedly. Finally, I came to a conclusion.

"How's this: I head home with Bill and Fleur. I spend the first few nights over at their house. When they come to the Burrow, I will have Victoire or Teddy Apperate me into Lily's room. I hide in there, and any cousin that wants to can hang out with me. Of course, I won't be able to attend supper, but I'm sure Albus would snatch up some left overs for me. It's the only way, so I can see you lot on Christmas. I'll sleep over, and will be there Christmas morning. I'll give Lily and Albus their presents, but I'll give everyone else their's on the Eve. And, if your parents discover me, Lily, then I'll spend the rest of Christmas at Lucy's. But I'd feel awful if you lot got in trouble for-"

"No. None of that, S'Mae. We're your friends; and we want to spend Christmas with you. If this plan doesn't work out, we'll stay here with you. But our parents are making us go home. We will risk our social lives for you, love. Anytime," Dominique says... when did she get here, exactly?

"Really?" I ask quietly. They all nod, eagerly. I laugh, and we all jump into a group hug of squeals and delighted laughs. It was all cut off my clapping coming from the doorway.

We pull apart, and I see Roxanne standing in the doorframe, a smirk on her ugly (okay, so she's not ugly..) pimpled (right, she doesn't have pimples..) fat (I'M BEING IMAGINATIVE! DON'T JUDGE!) face, while she clapped.

"Really, this is too sweet. I never knew all my cousins were house traitors," Roxanne says. I scowl at her. She disgusts me, truly.

"Roxanne, your bloody cousin Al is in Slytherin. And you bloody adore him," Lucy snaps, defending me.

"Al is a special case, love. He isn't the son of a murderer," Roxanne shoots back. Okay, that one hurt. A lot.

"Sophia Mae is NOTHING like her mother," Lily spats at Roxanne. Thank you, Lily.

"That's what you lot think. You know, Bellatrix was known for being a misleading, minipulative bitch. Who says Sophia Mae isn't like that?"

Okay. I've had enough of this. That's it. Hold meh shit, Dom. I'm going in.

"I NEVER MET MY BLASTED MOTHER, ROXANNE. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HER. HOW CAN I BE LIKE SOMEONE WHO I DON'T EVEN BLOODY KNOW?! GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE, ROXANNE. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MY MOTHER. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO MY FATHER WAS. IS. IT WASN'T RODULPHUS, I'LL TELL YOU THAT. OKAY?! SO WHY DON'T YOU PLEASE STOP JUDGING ME BECAUSE I'M A BLASTED LESTRANGE! CAN'T YOU SEE I DON'T WANT TO BE? CAN'T YOU SEE I HATE IT? AND YOU KNOW WHAT? I'm not a Lestrange. I'm a Malfoy, and I don't give a damn if you care or not," I say the last sentence weakly, crumbling slowly.

Don't cry...

Don't cry...

Don't cry...

GODDAMMIT DON"T CRY!

"You don't have to know a person to be them," Roxanne whispers, but I could tell she felt kind of bad. But, no matter what she feels right now, she'll never accept me.
"Yes, but you have to know a person to know you're being them," I whisper back, the tears stinging my eyes.

Roxanne looked like she wanted to say something, but thought better of it and went for a different remark.

"I'm never going to like you, Malfoy. Let's clear that out now. But, I realize that this topic is seriously a sensitive one, so I won't bring it up. I feel awful for making you cry. I know that it's hard to get you to break. The only thing that breaks you is this topic, according to Al and Lucy. So, I won't bring it up again. But, this doesn't mean I like you any more," Roxanne decides. I nod.

"Thank you," I whisper, but Roxanne holds up a hand.

"Don't thank me." Roxanne says flatly, before turning on her heels and stomping out of the room.

Hm. That went well.

"You okay, S'Mae?" Dominique asks, her hands on my shoulders.

I nod, blinking away tears. I won't cry, not tonight. Tonight's going to be a fun night.

"I should get going, I'll be back at seven," I say, rushing out of the room. Well, I tried to. But, Lily followed me. She rushed next to me, took my hand in hers and started swinging it in between us.

"Well, love, what do you say we head to the kitchens and grab some ice cream? As your new bestie, I demand serious interrigation. I need to know everything about you," Lily demands in a sarastic voice. I laugh, and grip her hand.

"Sounds marvelous, Lils."

She beams at me, and we skip our way to the kitchens.

"No way!" I squeal, laughing up my triple chocolate fudge brownie ice cream through my nose.

"Yes way! I'm not even lying!" Lily laughs back, her eyes wide and full of excitement and amusement.

I shake my head. "There's no way."

"Yes, there is love. I'm not lying! He's a very sensitive person, my Alby."

"I just can't believe he slept with a teddy bear until he was 15," I laugh. Really? Albus?

"Hey! Mr. Snuggles was a large part of his life, that thing was. I ripped it's head off when I was 5 and he was 6... so, unable to control his magic, he made me blow up into a giant ballon and bounce off the ceiling. My dad did that in his third year to his 'Aunt'. He wasn't particularly fond of the woman, you see...."

I burst into another fit of hysteria. I rather liked Lily.

We've been sitting here for the past two hours, just talking and eating a gallon of ice cream. We shared life stories, what upsets us the most, favorites of sorts, crushes, discussed boys, and all that jazz. It was so much fun, talking to her. I've only ever had these discussions with Victoire, but I haven't in a while. Lucy would have an occasional boy talk with me, but she was more of a tom boy and didn't particularly like this stuff. Only on special occassions, as in tonight, will she pull on her big girl knickers and talk like a girl. I loved nights like these, expressing your feelings, gaining a good 20 pounds, and discussing our fondness of boys. It was so much fun, but nothing compared to getting ready for things like Hogsmeade weekends. THOSE there were the best kind of girl nights and mornings.

"Well, as much as I'd love to continue this on, I have to head up to my dorm and get changed for our sleepover tonight with Lucy and Dominique," I say, standing up and brushing off my butt. What? I wanted to make sure there wasn't any dirt on my black pants!

"Yeah, I have to agree," Lily says, following suit. See? I'm not the only one!! In your face!

So, we picked up and headed to my common room. Lily accompanied me, not wanting to face the wrath of Roxanne, now that Roxanne knew Lily was my friend. I reached my common room, where the girls I shared it with were already in there, sitting on their beds, chatting and giggling. I hated them, and never got along with them. Okay, so Cassie Longbottom (Charmone's twin sister) wasn't all that bad, but other than her, I couldn't tolerate their utter stupidity.

"Oi! Malfoy! What have we told you about coming in here when we were having our chats?" Annelise Crabgrass snaps at me.

Annelise was a blonde dimpo. She was mean and was always on her high horse, not letting anyone tell her otherwise. She was a daft prat and was extremely stupid. I'll be surprised if she gets one NEWT in seventh year. She was tall, and had bleach blonde hair. Her eyes were black, and she was tall and skinny. She had legs, according to Albus and Scorpius, and was concidered 'fit'. I, on the other hand, considered her 'A Fake, Ugly troll'.

I never said I was a nice person...

"Shut your gob, Crabgrass. She is coming to get some pj's on and come with me. So stop being a bitch at her. This is her room as well," Lily snapped, standing next to me. The girls all stared in awe at the fact that Lily was defending me.

"Sorry, Lily!" Crabgrass said, in a fake innocence that almost I believed...

Hey, I said almost...

No one dared be a bitch towards Lily if they wanted a chance with Al or James. And, quite frankly, everyone wanted a chance with Al and James. Being friends with Al was another reason why everyone hated me. And, when bitches were making googly eyes at him, I'd start to hang on him and flirt, making them mad. Al thought nothing of it, and flirted back. It's been a joke of ours for years, and still is as to this day. It worked out well, most of the time.

And other times I come back with only half my hair and scratches down my arms... and face... and legs... and everywhere...

But, let me state this, the other girls always came out worse if not the same.

Anyways, as I was saying, Lily was treated with the upmost respect due to her brothers. I was jealous a bit, to be quite honest.

With Lily's help, I quickly searched my trunk for some pj's, and quickly changed in the bathroom, along with throwing on some fuzzy socks, brushing my teeth, and pulling my long, crazy black hair up in a sloppy bun that sat on the top of my head. I smiled approvingly in the mirror, and we were off.

I followed Lily down some corridors, up what seemed like a million (and one) steps, and we finally made it to the girls' rooms.

I didn't have my full body in the room before I was tackled to the ground, giggles and squeals flooding my ears... why must girls be so.... girly?

"Gerroff me!" I laughed, shoving the two girls who were Dom and Lucy off me.

They got off of me, and I was immediately hauled to my feet.

Examining the room, I find that the beds had been removed. There were red and gold sleeping bags, duvets, pillows, toss blankets, the whole shabang, covering the floor. One corner of the room had muggle hair stuff (and, let me say, I could NOT identify any of it. Damn pureblood family...), muggle nail polish, and towels. Another corner had ice cream, chocolate couldrons, chocolate frogs, honeyduke's best Every Flavor Beans, and so much more. It looked like heaven. It was amazing.

"Let's get this party started!" Dominique squeals, jumping up and down and clapping her hands. Mature, Dom. Real mature.

"Wooh!" the rest of us cheer, throwing our hands up in the air. I launch myself down onto a pile of pillows, and land on my stomach. The others follow suit.

"Right, you lot. What shall we do first? I vote we head for the nail polish and hair stuff," Lucy decides, taking off for the corner of the room.

She comes back with two small bags and a muggle thingy in her hand. she sets it down in between all of us.

"Who's getting all dolled up first?" Lily asks, her brows creased together. She was acting like that was an oh-so-serious question. Well, Lily being who she is, I can imagine it was a serious question to her.

Everyone looks at me. Before I could even begin to register what they were doing or pull out my wand, I was mobbed. They all held me down, and began away.

Lily was painting my toes a glittery green. They sparkled and looked very pretty against my eyes and pale skin. It was the perfect shade as well, resembling Slytherin in every way. Lucy had began painting my fingers the same colour, but only the tips. The rest of my nail was silver, and it looked very pretty. And, Dom sat behind me. She had this fat wand looking thing that clamped open and close. She opened it, and was heading towards my hair.

"Woah! What the bloody hell is that?" I screech, jumping away from Dom. In the process, I had managed to knock over the bottles of nail polish, too, coloring the gold carpet in sparkling green and silver.

The girls stare at me, dumbfounded. But, for a second. And only a second. Because after that second, they break into utter hysteria, laughing their arses off. They were all red faced, and clutching their stomachs. I sat there, arms crossed over my chest, pouting. I can't help the fact I was raised by purebloods! How the bloody fucking hell am I supposed to know what it is?!

"Thats a-a... th-that's a... h-h-hair straighten-ener..." Dom says through fits of laughter. I stare at the blasted 'hair straightener' and go to touch it.

"NO!" they all scream in unison. I recoil, shaken by their screams of disapproval as I reached to touch it.

"What? Why?" I ask, panicked.

And, with that, they burst into laughter again, tears rolling down their eyes.

This, my friends, is going to be a long night.
