Kingsley had left for the Ministry, to talk to the remaining Auror's about the situation, and ask for their help. Everyone was still at the Burrow and had been healed from any injury they received from Molly And Minerva. They were going over the plan, and trying to talk Ron, Hermione, and Ginny into going tomorrow.
"Harry could be dead by tomorrow!" Ron exclaimed.
"Do you really think we would wait for tomorrow if we knew they would kill Harry?" Arthur asked, his temper rising.
"You don't know, dad! Why would they keep him alive?" Ron pressed on.
"Their Death Eater's, they aren't so hard to figure out. Harry has information they need, he killed their master. They would probably torture him before even thinking of killing him." Arthur told him.
"Torture him? Why the hell are we waiting for tomorrow then?!?" Ron asked, his own temper rising.
"They expect us to come tonight, Ronald! If we wait for tomorrow morning, they won't know what hit them!" Arthur shouted.
Ron sighed and sat back in the couch next to Hermione, who was just as angry as Ron, but couldn't bring herself to yell at Arthur too.
"Look, I don't like the idea as much as you do, but it's the safest way to save Harry." Arthur explained.
Hermione could finally see his way, and it made sense to her. She knew Harry was tough, but she didn't know how long he could last there.
"Fine." Ron huffed.
Molly then walked in with Ginny, both of them red in the face from shouting at each other. Ginny was angrier then either Hermione or Ron about the plan, and shouted all sorts of things at her mother. Finally after a while, Ginny also saw their way, but still hated the thought of waiting to rescue Harry.
"Now, do you lot still want to come?" Molly asked, concern in her voice.
"Yes." Ginny, Hermione and Ron spoke at the same time.
"Now, I want to warn you right now. When we get Harry, he might not be in the best shape." Molly explained carefully.
"Why?" Hermione asked.
"Their Death Eater's, and Harry killed their master. They won't be gentle with him." Arthur cut in.
Hermione nodded, then rested her head on Ron's shoulder.
"It's time for bed, kids. We'll wake you up before we leave, I promise." Molly told them.
Hermione, Ginny, and Ron walked slowly up the stairs, and could hear Bill, Charlie, and Percy in the living room fixing the wall. No one talked, they didn't know what to say. Finally they reached the landing of Ginny's room, and stopped dead.
"Do you want me to stay in there with you tonight, Ginny?" Hermione asked.
Ginny nodded and Hermione walked over and wrapped her into a hug. When Ginny finally let go, Hermione walked past her and opened the door to her room.
"Ron," Ginny started, "Do you want to stay too? For Hermione." Ginny asked her brother.
Ron looked over towards Hermione, and nodded. Ginny walked into her room and conjured two sleeping bags, while Ron went upstairs in his room to get Hermione and himself pajama's to change into.
"Are you nervous? For tomorrow?" Ginny asked Hermione as she sat on her bed.
"Yeah. What about you?" Hermione asked.
"I'm scared. Harry was just starting to heal from the war, and now this happen's." Ginny told her.
"I know, but he's strong. I know he can make it through this." Hermione said.
"I know." Ginny replied.
Harry sat in the corner of his cell, falling in and out of sleep. He looked towards the clock on the wall in front of him, and saw it was three o'clock in the morning. He was exhausted. His body ached from all the cuts and all the time's he had been held under the Cruciatus Curse, plus his broken rib inside him was making him uncomfortable. Harry never thought he could be this ruined in just a couple of hours. He knew he had to be strong, but if he continued to be tortured this way, he would surely crack. He brought his thoughts to Ginny, Ron, and Hermione, and smiled. He knew he would seen them soon enough, they wouldn't give up on him.
Harry heard footsteps coming down the stairs and looked to see who was coming down. First Lucius came down, and to Harry's surprise, Draco. They came over and stopped in the front of his cell.
"Draco, will be watching over you for the rest of the night. We'll be preparing if your blood-traitor friends to come." Lucius sneered at him.
After that he left without another word. Draco watched as his father walked up the stairs with all the Death Eater's that were down here, then signaled Harry to come over towards him. Harry was hesitant, he wasn't for sure how much he should trust Draco yet.
"I won't hurt you, Potter." Draco whispered.
Harry hesitated for a moment, then got up and walked as fast as he could over to the cell door, and sat down.
"I sent a owl to the Weasley's. If they trust me enough, they'll be here when the Death Eater's are sleeping. I told them to come when the Death Eater's are most vulnerable." Draco whispered to him, checking over his shoulder every once in a while.
"Why are you doing this?" Harry asked, still confused.
"I never wanted to be a Death Eater, I was just trying to survive the war. I've had enough of my father and his vial ways. What his doing to you disgust me, I don't hate you this much. Plus, you saved me countless time, I owe you this." Draco explained.
"What about your mother?" Harry asked.
"She's on my side. As soon as your saved, were leaving my father. All we want to do is escape Azkaban if we can, but if can't, then we can't." Draco told him.
Harry nodded and crawled back over to his corner and leaned his head up against the wall, hoping for a couple more hours of sleep before he was rescued.
Molly, Arthur, Hagrid, and Minerva sat at the table, mostly everyone else was sleeping. They were waiting for Kingsley, who was going to bring the Auror's the Ministry had left.
"How many did Kingsley say he were bringing?" Hagrid asked Minerva.
"He said about five are left." Minerva answered.
"Do you think-" Arthur started but was stopped as a black owl came through the window and dropped a note on the table in front of him, and left.
"What is it?" Molly asked, looking at her husband.
"I don't know." He answered, picking the note up.
Arthur opened it up and pulled out the note, it read:
I know where Harry Potter is. He's in The Riddle House in Little Hangleton. If you meet me at the entrance at 10:30, I can help you save Potter. But you must come, I don't believe Lucius plan's on keeping him alive since he refuses to give information. Don't forget, the entrance at 10:30.
Arthur finished reading the note, then read it aloud for the people in front of him.
"Who's 'DM'?" Minerva asked, grabbing the note.
"I don't know." Arthur answered.
"Maybe one of the kids know?" Hagrid asked.
"Know what?" A voice asked.
Everyone's heads snapped over towards the stairs as they heard two sets of feet walking down. Ron and Hermione entered the room, curiously looking at the adults.
"What might we know, Hagrid?" Hermione asked innocently.
"We just received a note, someone knows where Harry is. Do you know someone with the initials DM?"Arthur asked.
Ron and Hermione looked at each other, a look of shock plastered on both of their faces.
"It can't be." Ron said to Hermione.
"It's possible. But why he help us save Harry? They hate each other." Hermione said back to him.
"Who?" Molly interrupted.
"Malfoy. Draco Malfoy." Ron answered.
"Isn't he a Death Eater with his father? Why would he want to help us?" Arthur asked.
"I don't know. Maybe he thinks it will get him out of Azkaban?" Hermione asked.
"It's our only hope. I say we trust him." Molly said.
"What? No! It's Malfoy, mum!" Ron told her.
"It's our only hope to get Harry back! I say we go and see if it's true, we have Auror's with us, it can't hurt to go and see." Molly told her son.
Ron sighed, but gave a nod of agreement.
"Good. Minerva, would you go and please tell Kingsley what is going on? You should probably bring the note as well." Arthur asked, grabbing the note for her.
Minerva took the note from him, and gave a nod. She walked over towards the fireplace and grabbed some floopowder, and was gone in a flash of green light. Hermione looked up at the clock, it was already four. She didn't think that she would be able to fall back asleep, not with everything going on, her mind was racing. Why did Malfoy want to help them, help Harry? Maybe because Harry saved him countless times? He thought it would keep him out of Azkaban? Hermione didn't know what to think.
"C'mon, M'ione. Lets go back upstairs." Ron said, tugging on the sleeve of her shirt.
"See you soon, Hagrid, and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley." Hermione said, walking over to the stairs with Ron.
"Goodnight, dears." Mrs. Weasley called back.
"Night." Hagrid grunted back to them.
Harry opened his eyes reluctantly. He didn't know what woke him up, and was surprised to find the room in front of him empty. Harry glanced over at the clock, and found it was already ten in the morning. What time did Malfoy say the Weasley's were coming? He thought suddenly. He didn't recall Malfoy even giving him a time. Harry sat up and leaned against the cold wall, cursing at himself inside his head for not asking for a time in the first place.
He snapped out of his thoughts as he heard footsteps coming down the stairs, and more than one. Lucius, and a couple of masked Death Eater walked over to his cell, and opened the door. Two masked Death Eaters came over and hoisted Harry to his feet and dragged him over to his chair. Harry protested the whole time. As he was slammed into the chair, Lucius grabbed his wand out of his pocket and secured ropes to Harry's hands, which were behind him.
"Potter," Lucius began, "Let's get back to work. Names, now."
Harry remained silent. How many times had he told them no? Harry flinched as he felt a Cutting Curse hit his cheek. He could feel the blood running down his cheek and throat, the warm of it making him uncomfortable.
"If you don't answer, I promise you I can give you worse pain than before." Lucius sneered at him.
Do your worst. Harry thought. He still remained silent. Lucius pointed his wand at Harry's leg, and muttered to himself. Harry cried out as he felt his leg break. Harry closed his eyes and chanted inside his head; Their coming, their coming, over and over again. He looked back up at the clock, which now read ten twenty nine.
Ginny held on tight to her fathers arm, ready to apperate with him at any moment. She then felt the familiar feeling of being squeezed through a tube, and opened her eyes. Ginny was looking towards a old house, a house that looked wore-down and lifeless. On the porch sat none other than Draco Malfoy. Ron and Hermione told her about the note as soon as she woke up, and the new plan. Ginny looked around and saw her mum, Ron, Hermione, Bill, Charlie, Percy, George, Kingsley, Hagrid, and the remaining five Auror's. The door of the house opened and Draco's mother walked out, looking tired and weak. Narcissa walked over and headed towards Kingsley.
"There's been a change in the plan. Lucius and his Death Eater's went downstairs at about ten to question Potter, and haven't been up since. We can help you get down there and fight, I just need you to be quiet when we go down." She told him.
"Thank you, Mrs. Malfoy. Lead the way." Kingsley said kindly.
Ginny hurried towards Ron and Hermione, who were in the front, and grabbed her wand out of her robe pocket. Draco opened the door ahead and walked inside with them, his wand drawn out and muttering spells to muffle their footsteps. Ginny could here people behind her whispering the same spells with Draco over and over again.
Just as they reached the landing for the basement, Draco held out a arm to stop them. Ron looked over at him confused, but Hermione and Ginny understood what he was about to do. Draco pointed his wand at the stairs and muttered the Silencing Spell over the stairs.
"Be as quiet as you can. If you cast a spell, be sure to make it Non-Verbal so they don't know we're here." Draco whispered to them.
Ginny nodded and heard Narcissa telling everyone else the same. Draco walked downstairs first and entered the room, not that his father cared. Ron and Hermione silently walked down the stairs, Ginny right behind them. As the room came into her vision, Ginny's eyes widened in horror. Harry was tied to a chair, with Lucius and three other Death Eater's right next to him. Parts of Harry were covered in blood, and some bruises were visible. She could see small pieces of glass still in his skin from the explosion at the Burrow. Ginny looked towards Ron and Hermione, who were both shaking in rage.
"Come now, Potter. Let's talk." Lucius said, trying to calm down.
"I'm not in the talkative mood right now." Harry snapped at him.
Ron, Hermione, and Ginny chuckled slightly, knowing Harry wouldn't give in.
"Tell me who is in the Order, now." Lucius asked, anger visible in his voice.
"No chance in hell." Harry said forcefully, but still sounded weak.
"If the Cruciatus Curse won't loosen your tongue, I know another Unforgivable Curse that will. Imperio!" Lucius said, waving his wand at Harry.
Ginny heard people around her muffle their gasp's of shock, herself being one of them. She watched as a daze look came over Harry's face, then turned into concentration.
"No way in hell I'm telling you." Harry said through clenched teeth.
Ginny never knew he could override the Imperious Curse, she couldn't deny that she was impressed. Ron and Hermione sighed in relief, but pointed there wands at their targets. Ginny lifted her wand up and did the same. She looked back to towards Harry just in time to see him cut with another Cutting Curse, and felt rage course through her body. Harry pulled his lips tight together, trying to ignore the pain from the cut on his neck. Ginny looked towards the Auror's and her parents, who all gave her a nod.
"One, two, three. Now!" Kingsley ordered in a whisper.
Ginny Non-Verbally hit a Death Eater with a Body-Binding Curse, and saw other Death Eater's hit with various spells. Lucius snapped his head over towards where we were, and gave a yell of frustration. Curses were being thrown left to right, and more Death Eater's arrived to the scene. But Ginny could tell it was too late for them to arrive, the Auror's and her family already had more of the Death Eater's down, their anger being used in their spell casting. Ginny hurried over where Harry was, who was watching the battles carry on in shock. Ron hurried towards her and helped her untie the ropes that kept Harry's hands together.
"We need to hurry, love. We need to get you out of here." Ginny said to him, grabbing his arm.
"I need some help, I think they broke my leg." Harry told her in a weak voice.
Ron helped Harry to his feet and pulled Harry's arm over his shoulder, while grabbed a hold of Harry's waist to keep him upright. Ginny walked in front of them to shield them from any curses. Mostly every Death Eater was down, put Avery was dueling Hermione and Molly, who were easily going to take him down. Hagrid, Kingsley, and Arthur were tying up Death Eaters to take to the Ministry. And Draco was dueling with his father.
"You have disgraced this family!" Lucius hissed as he dodged one of Draco's spells.
"No, father. You have!" Draco called back, shooting another spell in his father's direction.
Narcissa hurried over towards her son and started to duel with Lucius as well.
"You filthy little- Lucius started, but didn't get to finish.
Draco hit him with a Body-Binding Curse, and Lucius fell to the floor. At about the same time Molly took down Avery before Hermione was hit with a Killing Curse. As Ginny, Ron, and Harry passed the body of Lucius, Harry kicked out his good leg, and it connected with Lucius' nose. Blood poured out of his nose, but no one cared. As all three approached the stairs, Ginny stopped and looked over at the boys.
"Ron, I think we need to levitate him upstairs." Ginny told her brother.
Ron nodded and moved slightly away from Harry, so he wouldn't get caught in the spell. Ginny pointed her wand at Harry.
"Wingardium Leviosa!" She cried.
Harry was lifted into the air, and Ron hurried up the stairs so he could grab Harry as soon as he made it up there. Ginny carefully leaded him up the stairs, careful not to bump him into anything, and finally he reached the top. Ron grabbed onto him and helped him re-gain his balance, while Ginny and Hermione hurried up the stairs. Ginny found as she ran up to Harry and Ron, Harry was clutching onto Ron with his one leg hanging uselessly, and seemed as though he was about to pass out.
Hermione walked up to Harry and carefully hugged him, letting him know she was happy to see him. As Hermione let go Ginny quickly went over to him and hugged him as well, elated he was with her again. Harry smiled and hugged her with one arm, focusing on trying to stay awake. Ginny let go and kissed his one cheek that wasn't covered in dry blood.
"Do you think you'll be able to Side-Along Apperate, mate?" Ron asked.
"I don't know," Harry answered, "I feel like I'm going to faint." Harry added.
"Hold on, you can faint when we get back to the Burrow, okay mate?" Ron said.
Harry chuckled, but nodded. Ron tightened his grip on Harry, while Ginny and Hermione grabbed onto his other arm. In a blink of a eye, they Disapperated back to the Burrow.
