"Jinx! Now you owe me a butterbeer." I looked at him in disbelief.
"Is this really the time Lucius!?" I yelled/asked him.
"I'm trying to lighten the mood!"
"Well it's not helping! I swear you sound like a 5 year old!" I looked at Draco and it looked like he was trying not to laugh.
"Draco!" He jumped like he'd been scorched.
"Tell us what this is about."
Draco
I managed to tell them at least the main points of what was going on. I told them I would tell the the small details later after their classes.
"We'll finish later." My father said. He was so different in my time. Always uptight and has no sense of humor. They walked out of the common room. After a few minutes a thought came to me.
"Hey Granger!" I called. After a few minutes she came out of her room.
"What, Malfoy?"
"How come Teddy's here with you and not Potter? I heard that he was made godfather."
"I know that. Tonks and Remus made me godmother and me and Harry decided that Teddy would stay with me for the time being. That answer your question?"
"Yeah it does."
Lavender
Since Seamus was in the common room me and Ron had to go somewhere else. I can't believe he had the nerve to speak to me like that and Ron sided with him! I happen to be his girlfriend! (a/n: it was right there it had to be put :)) He should have agreed with me! I pulled him into an abandoned classroom. Before he could kiss me I put my hand in front of his face.
"Why didn't you side with me?" I asked.
"Side with you on what?" I swear if he wasn't so cute I would've smacked him then and there.
"In the common room. You took his side instead of mine."
"It wasn't some big thing. It was just who should leave and who should stay."
"I don't care! You should have taken my side no matter what the situation is and if you can't even do that then-" His lips crashed into mine.
I swear he always does this. Lately every time we fight he distracts me by kissing me. Just 20 minutes ago we were fighting about who knows what and he did this.
I came back to reality and pulled away from him.
"Stop doing that! Kissing me doesn't help me you know! I want a real conversation with you. You make me feel like I'm your snogging/shagging buddy! I'm trying not to make the same mistakes I made the last time we were dating. You are making my mistakes again. You've never even said 'I love you' to me!"
He tried to grab my hand, but I pulled it away and walked out of the room. I went outside to sit by the whomping willow. I made sure to sit out of it's hitting range. First year I used to come here all the time. Ironically it's where I first met Seamus.
Flashback
"Hello." I turned around and saw him. It was Seamus Finnigan.
He was in my house and in potions he almost always blew something up.
"Hi." I said. "I'm Lavender."
"I'm Seamus. Mind if I sit next to you?"
"Sure go ahead."
At that moment is when we became friends. Quick yes, but it felt like we've known each other forever in that moment.
Flashback over
I smiled at that memory.
Draco
After a few hours it was dinner time. I went out and saw 4 people making their way over here. The Maruaders. I saw Wormtail on right of them all.
I was shocked to see him. He was tall, had a little bit of puppy fat, and good actually look good. The last time I saw him he was short and very large. The poor bastard must've had a few rough years.
"What are you doing here Malfoy?" Potter asked.
"He and his parents are sharing a common room with us until this whole thing gets sorted out." I turned around and saw her standing there holding Teddy.
"How come you didn't tell us she was taken?" I heard Sirius whisper to Lupin.
"Look I don't know what's going on between them." He pulled him away, but I could still hear them. "it's none of my business."
"We can still hear you!" Herm-I mean Granger called after them. We all walked over to the Great Hall together in silence. Granger looked like she was trying to ask me something, but couldn't seem to do it.
"Remus could you take him for a moment? I need to talk to Malfoy for a sec." He took him from her and she grabbed my hand. She pulled me away towards the entrance hall.
"What did you tell them?" She asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked knowing exactly what she meant.
"I heard what you said. What makes you think that he gave it to your family to protect?"
"I don't see how this is your concern."
"You know what I'm talking about. If we can get rid of him here then we can all have a normal future. One where everyone doesn't have to live in fear. I know you want it too." I grabbed her arm and pulled her into a more private area so no one could over hear.
"You don't understand. It's dangerous for us to be here. It's dangerous for him and for me. I'll find a way to get those horcruxes."
"Draco you're hurting me." I let go quickly and looked down.
"I'm sorry." I realised that she said my name.
"Look let's just leave it until tomorrow, ok? I'm watching Teddy so we can watch him together and go over some things." I saw her rub her arm slightly and felt gulity.
"Yeah I'll see you tomorrow." I turned and walked away.
