Chapter 1 : Chapter 1

That girl, Alicia Potter, was and is me. I'm fifteen now. I'm a prefect, along with one of my brother's best mates, Remus Lupin. I have to hang out with the Marauders (my brother, Remus, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew). Nobody else understands me.
I sit down at the breakfast table, right next to Sirius. I look at the food. Nothing that looks really good, except a few jars of peanut butter. I reach for the only crunchy peanut butter, only to touch someone else's hand.
I look and it's Sirius'. I blush instantly and withdraw my hand. But then he grabs it. I blush even harder and look at the ground.
"Um...sorry..." I murmur.
"It's not a problem, Ali." I look up at James.
"So bro, what are you guys doing in Hogsmeade today?" I ask.
"Well, I have a date." I laugh slightly and grab the jar. "What's so funny?"
"You are. You're going out with Eliza Jackson, right?" He nods. I open the jar, only to have Sirius put a spoon in it. "Well, I know her. I heard her talking yesterday, and she is only going out with you for one reason."
"And what might that be?" I watch Sirius pull out the spoon and lick the peanut butter off.
"Well she said, and I quote, 'I just really need to have a hookup tonight. And James is so easy to do, I might as well hook up with the biggest man whore in the school.' That's exactly what she said." I say. I get some peanut butter and eat it.
"And you just sat there and let her call me a man whore?"
"No. I decked her, then I cussed her out, and broke her hand."
James looks me right in the eye. "Holy shit, you aren't lying."
"No. There's two reasons I did what I did. One, you're not the biggest man whore. Sirius is." I turn and smile at Sirius. "Two, nobody talks about you like that. If they do, they'll have to pay a price one way or another." I feel a tap on my shoulder, and I turn around.
I see Professor McGonagall and Eliza. "Yes, professor?"
"Ms. Jackson told me you were the student who injured her. Is that true?" She asks.
"Damn fucking straight it is. And why did I do it? She's been tormenting me for months, which I didn't have any fucking problem with, but that little bitch talked badly about James. She's so fucking lucky that I didn't do more to her whiney, bitchy ass." I say.
McGonagall looks at me. Her face is very pale, her mouth in the shape of an 'o', her hand over her heart. "Well, I have never heard a student swear right in front of a teacher. But I also have never had a student defend their family quite like that." She closes her eyes, thinking. "You will serve a week's worth of detention starting Monday, for the swearing and violence. But, you shall be rewarded fifty points for being so loyal to your brother." She walks away, Eliza following in her wake. I turn back to the boys, only to see their stunned faces.
Sirius felt my forehead. "Nope. You don't have a fever. So what's wrong with you?"
"What do you mean?"
"First off, you don't do anything to get in trouble. Period." Remus says.
"Second of all, you would never get in trouble for anyone else, especially us." Peter adds.
"Thirdly, you never cuss. And then you practically cussed a teacher out." James says.
"So what's wrong with that?"
The three of them just watch me. Sirius leans over and whispers in my ear. "I thought it was pretty sexy." He says. He gently takes my ear love between his teeth, and he pulls slightly. Can anyone else see this? Okay, I think, he's just horny. Nothing to worry about...
It turns out Peter had to go get something for his mum for her birthday. Remus went to help him. So that just leaves me and Sirius, since James still went on that date.
I haven't looked him in the eye since breakfast. But I do keep glancing at him. His black tee shirt hugs him like a bear hugs honey, which is very tightly. It illuminates every muscle he has. His black jeans look very nice on him too. I never really noticed how fit he is.
I glance down my body. My red tank top hugs my torso also. Plus, it's low cut, making it revealing. My blue jean shorts cut off about midway down my thigh. Not really the best outfit.
I walk down the Main Street with Sirius at my side. Then he pulls me into an alley between two buildings. I look at him.
"That's my arm! I'd really prefer to keep it!" I say.
"Sh! I don't want to risk someone coming back here from your shouting."
"Because I have to show you something." He reaches in his pocket and pulls out a very beautiful necklace. It's silver, and hanging off of it is a sapphire. My birthstone.
"Holy crap that's gorgeous. Who are you going to give it to?"
He smiles at me. "You."
