“Yes… oh God yes.” I ripped his shirt over his head and pushed him down on the bed when we finally reached it. He gazed up at me, lust clouding his eyes. His body was rock solid, perfect in every way except for some small lines, even paler than his skin, strewn about his chest and abdomen. I leaned down to run my fingers lightly over one of them. Draco grabbed my wrist preventing me from touching it.
“Hermione…” He whispered. I looked into his eyes with a smile.
“We all have scars Draco.” I said as I tilted my head to reveal the scar on my neck courtesy of Bellatrix Lestrange. He let my wrist go and solemnly watched as I traced one of the scars he received from Harry’s Sectumsempra spell all those years ago. I continued running my fingers down his perfect abs to the top of his pants where I fiddled with his belt and unlatched it.
Draco sat up and pulled me between his legs, kissing my stomach through the fabric of my dress.
“Help me get this off.” I whispered breathlessly as I began to lift the black material up and over my thighs. Draco slid his hands up my legs starting at my knees. His touch felt like he was pouring desire over every nerve ending in my body. He slid the dress up and over my thighs, making sure his hands connected with my skin every inch of the way.
He sucked in a breath once my green lace thong was presented to him. His fingers traced the fabric and he placed a kiss where it met my lower stomach. I let out a whimper and buried my hands in his hair. I hadn’t been touched like this in ages. I would relish every second I got with him. I pulled the dress over my head in one swoop and threw it on the ground with his shirt.
“You’re beautiful Hermione.” Draco breathed against my skin as he slowly kissed his way up my stomach and over my breasts as he stood up. He made his way to my neck and murmured an apology and placed a gentle kiss over the scar from his Aunt. I ran my hands up and down his back loving the feeling of his soft smooth skin.
“It’s all in the past Draco. We’re here now. That’s what matters.” I kissed his shoulder and claimed his lips when he raised his head. It was slow and sensual, not rushed and hard like before. This was a lover’s kiss. I set back to my task of removing his pants without tearing my lips from his. First the button, then the zipper. They flooded to the floor.
“Make love to me Hermione.” Draco whispered against my lips. I smiled in response before he relieved me of the rest of my clothes and himself of his boxers.
He laid me down on the large bed, covered in green silk sheets and comforter, typical. I held out a hand for him to join me. He climbed onto the bed and held himself above me.
“Are you sure?” He asked. His eyes were begging me to say yes.
I pulled him down on top of me loving the weight of a man. I kissed and bit his neck leading him to growl in response before he claimed my mouth and used his hands to explore my body.
“Please Draco… I need you.” I whimpered while he teased my body with his lips, tongue and hands. He didn’t waste any time after my plea. We became one. It was a sensation like I had never felt before. Powerful. Fulfilling. More pleasure than I had ever known. We moved together in perfect harmony, kissing, trusting, loving. It was beautiful.
When we were both sated we lay back on the bed panting, drenched in sweat. I closed my eyes and smiled, already reliving the moments of tenderness and passion.
“What are you smiling at?” Draco had laughter in his voice. I turned my head to look him in the eye. His face was flushed and glistening like the rest of his body. His eyes were bright and alive and a smile curved the corners of his mouth.
“I’m just thinking of how I’ll treasure this night for the rest of my life. How I’ve never felt better.” His smile grew at my words and he rolled on his side to face me. All of his glorious nakedness presented for my eyes to devour. He was devastatingly beautiful. Draco brushed a damp curl away from my face.
“Same here love. That was incredible.” I smiled and closed my eyes as he caressed my cheek. “What do you say to round two in the shower?”
My eyes flew open. I smiled brightly before pushing him to his back and climbing on top of him. I planted dozens of kisses on his face, neck and chest while he laughed.
“I’ll take that as a yes.” He chuckled and sat up, lifting me off the bed he carried me to the shower where he made love to me again.
“Hermione… Hermione come on wake up I’m hungry.” I heard Draco’s soft voice and growled at him for trying to wake me up. He laughed in response and rolled me onto my back.
“What do you want?” I asked him, my eyelids still shielding me from the morning light. Feather light kisses were then placed on my neck, shoulder, chest and stomach before I managed to open my eyes.
“You.” Draco huskily murmured against my skin. It sent a shiver up my spine and I obliged him once before we got ready for breakfast. When we were dressed and presentable he led me to the living room of the enormous flat. I hadn’t noticed anything last night. I was too caught up in the passion I shared with the amazing man I was with. The flat was huge. Three bedrooms, four baths, a large kitchen, dining room and entertaining room aka living room. It was decorated in earth tones which surprised me immensely.
“Come on. Let’s eat out on the terrace.” Draco led the way to the double doors as we carried the breakfast we had made. No house elves. Another nice surprise. The man was an enigma to me. I thought I was going to drop the plates of blueberry pancakes and eggs when I stepped out on the large balcony. There a few blocks away stood the Eiffel Tower in all its daylight glory.
“Oh my god, Draco…” I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the view. I felt the plates leave my hands and then a firm chest press against my back while a set of arms wound around my waist.
“You like?” He whispered in my ear and gently nibbled on my neck.
“Mmmm, that feels nice. And yes. I like a lot. What hotel is this?” I leaned back into his embrace and let my eyes close, just enjoying being in his arms.
“It’s an apartment building. My family owns it, well… I own it.” He admitted quietly.
I spun around in his arms. “You own this!?” Damn I forgot he was so rich. What would it be like to own an apartment… no… an apartment BUILDING in Paris? I’ll never know. I’m content with my medium sized flat and bookstore back home.
Draco gave me a guilty smile. “Yes.”
“Wow.” I breathed and maneuvered my way out of his arms to go take a seat. “Wow.” I said again and took a bite of the pancakes.
“Are you alright?” He asked concernedly as he took the seat opposite me.
I nodded my head and looked back to my plate, drizzling more syrup over my pancakes. Draco pulled his chair closer to me and took my hand in his.
“I don’t believe you. What’s wrong?” He said slowly. I focused my eyes on his.
“I just remembered how out of my league you are. Not saying this was anything more than sex, I mean great if that’s what you wanted. I mean, you probably bring women here all the time, so yeah. Just a one time thing. Just sex. Ok.” I tried to pull my hand away but he held onto it tighter and grabbed my other one forcing me to turn towards him. His thumbs drew circles on the backs of my hands until I looked up at him. His eyes were sad, confused, lonely.
“You’re only the second woman I’ve ever brought here. And that was a long time ago. Hermione if anyone is out of anyone’s league here it’s you out of mine. No, don’t fight me on this. You’re a much better person than I could ever hope to be. This, us, isn’t just about sex. And I don’t want us to be just a one time thing. Is that what you want?” Draco looked nervously into my eyes. I searched his for a moment trying to decipher if he was lying of not. He wasn’t. I knew it before I searched for conformation. I shook my head before finding my voice.
“No. I don’t want us to just be a one time thing.” Draco brought me into his arms and kissed my head.
“Good. Because even if you said yes, that you didn’t want to see me again, I would have pestered you until you’d agree to go out with me.” He chuckled and so did I. I hugged him back.
Breakfast was stretched out until noon. We talked about friends and family. He asked why Ron and I never ended up together and I explained that we broke up a few years after the war. It just wasn’t meant to be. He told me about his father serving some time in Azkaban for his dealings with Voldemort, and how he is now a good man. We tried to stay away from our dealings with each other in the past, but let in some stories about our days at Hogwarts. Happy memories allowed only.
“Well, I must be getting back. I have a bookshop to run. My employees are probably wondering where the heck I am.” I got up from the chair and started to pile up our plates.
“Leave that, I’ll take care of it. You own that bookstore?” Draco’s voice was one of awe. I nodded and smiled. “I should have known you’d never give up your first love. Well, congratulations.” He hugged me and kissed my lips lovingly. I could very well get used to this treatment. He treated me like I was a precious object even though we went our different ways on bad terms 10 years ago.
“Thank you.” I mumbled against his mouth. “I really do need to go though. Thank you for a wonderful evening and morning. It was beyond amazing Draco and so special. I’ll never forget it.” I hugged him closer to me and laid my head against his chest.
“Neither will I.” He whispered as he stroked my hair. “When can I see you again?”
“Whenever you want. I’m not a very busy woman.”
“That’s a good thing. Now I can monopolize all your time.” I pulled back and gave him a cheeky smile.
“Ok Casanova, I really need to go.” He led me over to the fireplace. After packing my dress and heels in my clutch I stood on tiptoe and gave him a long sensual kiss, one that he would hopefully remember.
When I stepped into the fireplace his eyes were glazed in lust and his breathing was ragged. I picked up a handful of floo power from the tin on the floor and shouted “Hermione Granger’s Flat”.
“Hermione!” Draco stalled me in throwing down the powder. I gave him a questioning look. “I’ll see you tonight.” He smiled his perfect smile and I gave him one in return before throwing the powder down and disappearing in a flash of green flames.
I entered my flat through the fireplace a few seconds after leaving my blonde haired lover.
“Hermione! Where have you been!?” Uh oh, Ginny was waiting for me on my couch. “Oh my Merlin. You slept with him!” She screeched and slowly got off the couch. I panicked; I didn’t know how she knew or how she was going to react. To my surprise she waddled over to me and engulfed me in a hug.
“Gin. Gin!” She finally let go and stood back a bit, smiling like a fool. “First off, how did you know!? And second, why aren’t you mad?”
She placed her hands on her hips and smirked at me. “Well, you’re wearing a men’s dress shirt for starters. And it’s about time you got some. I was worried you’d never find anyone again. Even if it is Malfoy. Harry’s dealt with him a bit in the past 10 years, says he’s not that bad anymore.”
I looked down at Draco’s shirt I was still wearing. Even after getting clean in the shower I had wanted to wear it. It smelled like him and he said I looked sexy in it.
“Ah.” I chuckled. “Well, I’m glad you approve then.” I led her back over to the couch and helped her ease herself down.
“So…” She prompted. I smiled and quirked an eyebrow. “Oh for the love of Merlin Hermione. How was it?! I’m a horny pregnant woman, give me some steamy details!”
I outright laughed at her annoyed face. Her pregnancy hormones had been all over the place lately. “Alright, alright. Well, I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t had sex in a long time, but it was incredible Gin. He was so loving and tender, but also a bit wild. It was the best ever. He took me to Paris.”
“WHAT!? He took you to Paris? On your first date! Wow, Malfoy has style. If I wasn’t pregnant, and happily married I’d have to steal him from you.” Ginny laughed and I joined in. “So when are you seeing him again?”
“Apparently tonight. Or so I was told before I flooed out of there. I can’t wait actually.” My smile grew as I thought about Draco. My one time enemy was already occupying my thoughts. I wasn’t sure if that was a good or bad thing.
“Do you know what you’re doing?” Ginny looked as excited as I felt.
“No. I suppose it will be a surprise like last night.” I filled her in on the details of my night from when Draco didn’t recognize me at first in the Leaky Cauldron to this morning on the balcony. I obviously left out most of the sexual encounter however, some details are sacred.
After Ginny left I got ready for my day at ‘GT Books,’ named after ‘The Golden Trio.’ The store was open thanks to one of my employees and a bouquet of peach roses was waiting on the counter for me. The note attached had my name scrawled on the envelope. I smiled, already knowing who it was from. I slowly opened the envelope and pulled out a sparkling gold and red card.
Thank you for a beautiful evening and a wonderful morning.
I’ll pick you up from your flat at 11pm tonight.
Wear something comfortable.
I can’t wait to see you.
My heart beat wildly as I reread the note. After one night he already had my body aching to see him. I went through my day happy as a clam, smiling like a school girl. By 10:50 that night I was ready in a pair of white and cream seersucker pants, a white tank top and a white ¾ sleeve sweater with white sandals. It was extremely comfortable, but dressy enough just incase. My hair was curly and half pulled up and I applied a light coat of make up; mascara, peach blush and a pink gloss on my lips. No need to go overboard after he had seen me with no makeup after our shower together this morning.
At precisely 11 pm the doorbell rang. I was surprised he hadn’t just flooed in, but I assumed he wanted to be a gentleman and be asked into my flat instead of barging in. I gave myself a once over in my hallway mirror and opened my door. Standing in front of me was the most gorgeous man I had ever seen. His eyes were surveying my body with appreciation, his full lips were turned up in a smile, and his blonde hair was disheveled in an ‘I know I’m sexy’ kind of way. Draco wore a pair of khaki slacks and a short sleeve white button up paired with brown loafers. We matched basically; when he noticed this too we both burst out into laughter.
“Well hello beautiful. Aren’t you going to invite me in?” Draco smirked and presented me with a pink rose.
“Why thank you Mister Malfoy. Yes, please come in.” I took the rose from Draco and led him into my living room. I didn’t get far before he spun me around and wrapped me up in his arms.
“I haven’t been able to stop thinking of you all day. After one night you’ve invaded my every thought. It’s been hell being away from you for so long.” Draco leaned down and captured my lips in a sweet caress.
“Draco, it’s only been 10 hours since you last saw me.” I said with a chuckle when we pulled apart. He held me closer and buried his face in my neck.
“I know. That’s way too long.” He whined against my skin, causing me to giggle.
“What are you going to do when we don’t see each other for a few days or a week at a time?” I asked and his head snapped up. He gazed into my eyes. He looked confused and helpless.
“Is that… is that what you want?” He couldn’t mask the hurt in his voice. I didn’t think I said anything bad, but the look in his eyes told me he took it the wrong way. I cupped his cheeks and brought him in for a quick kiss.
“No Draco. I want to see you as much as possible. But we both have our own lives, work and family and friends. We can’t be together 24/7.” He pulled me back in to rest his head in the crook between my neck and shoulder. He placed a sweet kiss on my skin and I felt myself heat up.
“I suppose you’re right… I just wish I could kidnap you and hold you hostage in a room with me and not have to worry about anything but you.”
“Believe me, I would love that. But alas, we do have other things to worry about. Such as, what we are doing tonight.” I couldn’t hide the excitement in my voice. He was so spontaneous last night; I couldn’t wait to see what he had in store for me tonight.
Draco pulled back and looked down at me with a goofy grin on his face.
“It won’t be as romantic as last night, but I think you’ll enjoy it. Well I hope you will.” He led me over to the fireplace and I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“If I’m with you, I’m sure I’ll have a great time.” He smiled down at me and stepped into the floo, grabbing a handful of powder from the bowl on the mantel.
Holding me tightly to his side he shouted “Malfoy flat, New York, New York” and threw down the powder.
