Only the best would die by her wand- hopefully even Potter.
That's who she was looking for when the flash of red hair ran by her, but she quickly realised who it was. It was that blood-traitor Weasley that had been in the Potter boy's thoughts during the fiasco at Malfoy Manor. (Though the fiasco was most certainly not her fault!) It appeared the Potter boy was also in her thoughts too, she was looking for him. Starting to duel the blood-traitor, Bellatix was suddenly fighting against the mud-blood Granger and some other idiotic child as well. They were all fighting their hardest, but they were no match for her experience. They wouldn't last a minute when Bellatrix decided she wanted to stop playing. Looking around, Bellatrix heard the Potter boy's thoughts at the same time he spotted the girl, but he also spotted Bellatrix too. He was hidden beneath what appeared to be an invisibility cloak, she hadn't even been aware that he had one. Did her master know? A malicious smile crept on the Bellatrix's face, this would get the boy she thought. Focusing her wand in her hands, she looked at the blood-traitor before shooting a non-verbal killing spell at her.
The girl had faster reflexes than Bellatrix had first thought and she quickly dodged the spell, but it had angered the Potter boy, which was exactly what she wanted. He made to come towards her, and she was ready for him. This was it. She would kill the boy and the Dark lord would see how amazing she was; she would have everything she wanted and more besides.
Then the plan changed!
Suddenly it wasn't the Potter boy running towards her, but a woman. One quick glance of her mind told Bellatrix all she needed to know. It was times like this Bellatrix relished in being an accomplished legilmence. This woman was the blood-traitor girl's mother, and she was now out to avenge the woman who had shot a killing spell at her daughter.
“NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!”* Screamed the blood-traitor woman at Bellatrix as she raced forward pushing past the Potter boy and taking her cloak off her arms. Bellatrix roared with laughter as she turned her attention towards the blood-traitor woman. This was going to be so much fun, a little old housewife was no match for the dark lord's most favoured follower.
The woman raced in front of the three kids, telling them to move aside as she started dueling Bellatrix. To Bellatrix's surprise the blood-traitor woman could fight, and fight she was going to do. This woman was good, maybe just as good as Bellatrix was but she was never going to admit that. No she was going to finish the blood-traitor for good. It might take longer, but she wasn't going to be defeated by the likes of her. Not a chance.
The blood-traitor screamed as some kids tried to help her, even her husband was standing closely behind her, and Bellatrix was outraged. She vaugley recognised that she was telling them to not help and it infuriated her. This was going on for far too long, and she tried to torment the woman to distract her long enough to get in the final shot.
“What will happen to your children when I've killed you? When Mummy's gone the same way as Freddie?”* Bellatrix laughed as she taunted the blood-traitor woman, dodging the spells that were being sent her way.
The blood-traitor screamed back at her, but the different words were lost on Bellatrix. The fight was becoming too close, and she was only focused on that. They were both fighting to kill, that much was obvious, and neither side was showing any sign of giving in. Bellatrix let out a cold, malicious laugh as she shot another spell towards her opponent. This had to end soon. The blood-traitor woman responded with her own deadly spell, but with one difference.
This one hit its target.
The spell went through Bellatrix's outstretched arms and hit her square on her chest. The effect was instant. Bellatrix was too late, and her body slumped to the floor. The roar that filled the hall made Voldermort scream in fury. His most faithful follower, his most devoted servant was gone. He turned his attention to the person responsible for her downfall and pointed his wand at her.
