"Well hello there Mr. Malfoy. Hope you are doing well." He greeted Draco with a rough shake and a smile.
Draco smiled and nodded. "Doing very well thank you. And yourself?"
"Quite well thank you. So Miss. Granger I would think that you of all magical people would have put up charms to keep others like Mr. Grayson out." He commented eyeing Grayson tied up in the corner.
"I did have charms up. He somehow got through them." Hermione said coldly.
"Oh yes very well then. Seeing how I'm sure that Grayson has told the others where Mr. Malfoy is, we will have to put you in a safe house. Your things will be packed and there in your safe house when you get there."
"What about Ronnie?" Hermione asked worried.
"She will stay with Mr. Potter. Until we are sure that you two are safe."
"And where would you say, if I may ask, would we be staying? You and I both know that we can't stay with another wizard let alone the magical world." Draco spoke for the first time since he walked in being greeted by the so-called new leader.
"We will have you two placed in the middle of where the Death eaters won't find you. It's quite beautiful where we are going to hide you." He spoke.
He looked down at his pocket watch and gasped. Draco walked over to Hermione and they sat down. Draco ‘s hand found its way to the small of Hermione’s back.
"Well I must be off. Many things to do but very little time to do so." He bowed to them and disappeared into the fireplace.
Draco leaned over and put his arm around her.
"She's gonna be fine. Potter won't let anything happen to her. He knows you were murder him if he did so." He whispered in her ear.
Suddenly they were a knock on the door. Hermione pulled out her wand and slowly opened the door seeing nothing but a package with her name on it in bright yellow writing. She picked it up and read the card on it.
Dear Miss. Granger,
This porkey will take you to your safe house. After an hour this can no longer be used.
Hermione turned around and faced Draco who nodded. Draco walked over to Hermione and they both sat their hand down on the porkey. Next thing either one of them knew they felt their belly being tugged and pulled at.
After what seem forever Draco felt his feet hit the ground. He looked around and seen nothing but trees, flowers, and a cabin. He looked at Hermione and gave her a questioning look. She shook her head while pulling out her wand.
“Why your wand?” Draco wondered.
“I just want to make sure.” She sighed.
Draco pulled his wand out of his pocket and they walked inside the cabin. They walked in every room, because not knowing made Hermione nervous about the house.
“Ok are you okay now with the house? Or do you want to look more about?” Draco teased Hermione.
“Don’t make fun. I’m just worried.” She said sadly.
“She’s fine. Potter won’t let anything happen to her.” Draco reassured her.
She nodded and laid her head on her knees. Draco rubbed her back and she groaned.
“Is that a good thing or a bad thing?” he asked.
“I don’t even know.” She muttered into her knees.
Hermione sat up and lend against Draco’s side. Draco sighed, he couldn’t think of how she must be feeling. Having her daughter somewhere not with her. Draco was shocked that she was staying this calm. Before Draco knew it Hermione had dozed off. He smiled and slid his self from her. He stood up and picked her up. He carried her into the closet bedroom.
He laid her down covering her over. Hermione hugged the cover up to crest. Draco smiled and leaned over kissing her on the forehead. He walked back out of the room. Draco went and sat back down on the couch. He walked in the other room and started unpacking his bag. Thinking Hermione wouldn’t like it if he when through her stuff even to unpack it.
That next morning Draco woke up to the smell of bacon, eggs, and toast. He rolled out of bed and walked into the kitchen. He walked in and seen that Hermione had cooked a huge breakfast.
“Umm Hermione. Why are you fixing so much food for just the two of us?”
She turned around and Draco noticed that she had been crying. He hurried over to her.
“Hey are you okay? What’s wrong?”
Hermione shook her head. “Nothing I just miss her that’s all.”
Draco nodded and hugged her. “Well how about we sit down and have some good breakfast that you cooked?”
“That sounds like a great idea.”
