“Rena?” Ginny whispered in my ear about 5 o’clock that morning.
“What?” I groaned.
“I just have to ask. How do you feel about my relationship with Blaise?”
“Ginny, Its five in the morning. Can this wait?”
“Fine. Then I’m happy about it. I have always thought of you as a sister and I know that Blaise really cares about you and nothing makes me happier knowing that you like him back. His last girlfriend broke him into pieces by playing with his emotions and then throwing his affection away. Now I know you would never do that to him, but still, if you did, he would die. I am happy because now I have a chance to really call you a sister.”
“I’m glad you think so.”
“Now thanks for waking me up, because now there is no point trying to fall asleep again, I have patrol in an hour.” My irritated sarcasm fell upon deaf ears as Ginny collapsed on my floor snoring. I sighed, but then smiled as I threw off the heavy quilt and stepped onto the carpeted floor. I crossed to the bathroom and ran a shower. It didn’t take me long to get clean, and went back to my dorm to find something to wear. December was upon us now so it was cold. I settled on a pair of skinny jeans, a grey sweater and black, knee-high heeled boots. I tip toed out of the bedroom, said a simple glamour to dry my hair and adorn my face in cosmetics. I went downstairs to the small kitchen and made a pot of coffee.
There was still some time before patrol so I figured I should probably eat something too. Since my cooking skills were limited, I decided I would just make a bagel with cream cheese.
Just as I was about to take the first bite, a crash sounded from upstairs followed by a muffled curse. I sighed in irritation as I slammed the plate back down on the small table, rose from the wood chair and ran upstairs to see what was wrong.
Draco laid in the middle of the hallway, pants halfway up his arse, shirt semi pulled on over his head, shoes in hand. It appeared that he had woken up late and had been attempting- but ended up failing miserably- to get dressed and run down the hallway to the stairs at the same time.
“Are you alright?”
“Well you certainly look funny so why don’t you just tell me what is ailing you so that I can kiss it and make it better.”
“Well, my lips do kind of hurt.”
“Nice try. Well coffee is downstairs, I’ll see you down there when you are dressed.”
“Nope.” I said and sauntered back down the stairs suppressing a giggle.
A few minutes later Draco walked into the kitchen, snatched the coffee out of my hand raising it high above his head. Being that the glamour had made me shorter, and Draco was at least six foot, I couldn’t reach it.
“Give it back.”
“hmmm. On one condition.”
“No, just give it back.”
“Only if you kiss me.”
“Okay.” I walked up to him got real close to him and landed a kiss right on his lips. “Now give it back.”
“Here it is, as promised,” he said and I reached for it but he pulled it back at the last second to take a rather large gulp of it. Then he handed it to me.
“EWWWWWWW!!!! I hate you.”
“You can have it now. I need to get a travel mug anyways, we have got patrol coming up.”
“He leaned down and kissed me. I already made you a travel mug, while you were kissing me. Its behind you on the counter.” I turned and saw the beautiful pink mug full of coffee, hot and steaming for me and sighed leaning into Draco.
“Okay, I love you again.”
“Isn’t magic great?”
“Yeah, but coffee is better.” He smiled and kisses my head.
“We have to go Rena. We are already behind schedule.”
“Yeah.” I grabbed my bag and walked out of the common room, Draco right behind me.
