Hello! Here is yet another Druna story! XD My novel should be out by the last week of July at the least, that's only if I get a ton more one-shot ideas or I am too lazy or mean to post it ASAP! >:) Just kidding, it will be out the second I am finished with my one-shot ideas. Or maybe, if I get enough reviews on this, I'll post it sooner! :P Anways, here is this story I just wrote, hope you like it, yada yada.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna, Draco, Hogwarts, blah blah blah. I don't own anything cool! :'( Except for this really wicked color of nail polish... I will stop blabbering now to give you the story! XD (thanks for putting up with my weirdness and talkativeness! I am a girl, after all! ;P)
A very pregnant Luna hummed softly as she looked around Flourish and Blotts for some new books. There were so many different titles and a promise of a large variety in the book shop, she didn't know where to start!
Luna looked up at the ceiling where signs floating in mid air indicated where you could find books for certain ages or subjects. She chose one and decided to look over at that section.
On her way she passed a group of teenagers looking for their school books. Luna smiled at them. She remembered years ago when she was looking for books that she needed for Hogwarts.
Luna reached the section she was looking for and began browsing the books for babies. She loved to read to her unborn child.
As she picked out a few that looked interesting, she heard someone behind her gasp.
She turned around in surprise to see her best friends Hermione, Ginny, Harry and Ron. Hermione, who had spoken, gasped again.
"It is you!" The two girls ran up to hug Luna.
"Wow, Luna. It's been ages since we've seen you!"
Luna laughed. "Only a year or so. I saw you guys at your wedding last August, Ginny!"
Ginny playfully rolled her eyes. "That was forever ago!"
From behind Ginny, Harry laughed.
Hermione and Ginny stepped back, taking a look at Luna.
"Oh Merlin! You're pregnant!" Hermione exclaimed.
"You just noticed?" Ron asked his wife.
Hermione just stuck out her tongue at him.
"How many months?" Ginny asked.
"I'm due in two weeks!" Luna said with a wide smile. She couldn't believe she was seeing her friends now!
"So what have you been up to since we last saw you?" Harry asked. Ginny walked over to him and he put his arm around her.
"Oh, not much. Three years after the war and I'm still the same old me! I mean, now I'm married and expecting, but other than that, I'm still Luna!"
Ginny gasped. "You're married?!"
Luna looked at her a little confused. "Yeah, I've been married for two years! Didn't you notice the ring on my finger at your wedding?"
Ginny giggled. "I was too busy admiring my own."
Hermione, who had walked back over to Ron, laughed. "I can't believe I didn't notice either!"
Luna smiled, looking at her friends.
They were standing a few feet in front of her, looking happy.
"Why weren't we invited to your wedding?" Ginny asked Luna.
"Oh, it was really simple and small, only family members were there because we didn't want a big wedding, instead we went on a honeymoon to Paris for two weeks!"
"Oooh, lucky! I went to France once and it is amazing!" Hermione said.
"So who's the lucky guy?" Ginny asked.
Luna opened her mouth to answer but before she could say anything, Harry and Ron had pulled out their wands and pointed them at something next to Luna.
This is weird, Harry thought, why is Malfoy in a bookshop? And what is he doing standing next to Luna like that? He's awfully close to her than he would be next to someone in public.
"What?" Luna asked, staring at Ron and Harry bewildered.
"Get away from her, Malfoy!" Harry growled.
Luna felt someone grab her hand.
"And don't touch her!" Ron barked.
Luna didn't need to look to see what they were talking about.
"I'll do whatever I want, Weasley." Draco spat.
He put his arm around Luna and rested his hand on her hip, then pulled her in for a kiss.
Ginny and Hermione were looking horrified, then understanding dawned on Hermione's face.
"Guys, put your wands down, he's not going to hurt her." She told the two men. Confused, they lowered their wands.
"What are you doing here, Malfoy?" Ginny snarled.
Draco seemed to be amused. "I am picking up my wife so we can pay for her books and go home."
Luna giggled. Hermione was the only one who knew what was going on.
"We're married! Ta da!" Luna announced.
A shocked silence followed her words before they sunk in.
"What?" Ginny asked, dumbfounded.
"You're married to... Malfoy?" Ron asked.
"No, I'm married to Draco." She corrected.
Harry looked like someone had told him that it was all an illusion and he wasn't a wizard and there is no such thing as magic.
Luna laughed again.
"Oh honestly guys," Hermione said. "It's not like he's evil anymore! Congratulations you two." She hugged the couple.
Draco held up his arms. "Thank you Hermione!" He said in mock exasperation.
Ginny laughed. "Congrats!"
She hugged them as well.
"Wow." Ron said.
"Weird." Harry agreed.
Ginny rolled her eyes and whispered "Just ignore them."
"Well, we best get going! It was nice seeing you guys, I'll write you more! And you can come see the baby once it's born!"
Draco and Luna began to walk away slowly.
Harry went up to Draco. "Malfoy," He said through gritted teeth. "Treat Luna like the queen she is. If you ever hurt her, I swear it will be the last thing you ever do. Understood?"
"Yeah, yeah, nice to see you too." Draco smirked.
The four friends waved as they watched the odd couple walk away.
"Well that was..." Ron began.
"Unexpected." His sister finished.
Hermione shrugged. "Oh well. Let's go home guys."
"I think they took that rather well." Luna said.
Draco laughed and kissed her. "Not exactly, but who cares?"
Life was good.
