You know who I am. I haunt your dreams, flit about your memories, lurking in the forever-blue skies, watching. Waiting. I am Ariana Kendra Diana Claire Dumbledore, daughter of Kendra and Percival, sister of Albus and Aberforth. Yet I remain a mystery to all except my family. My life was slow torture from the beginning. My father went to Azkaban because of me. My mother died because of me. My brothers hated each other for years because of me. My neighbors did not know I existed until it was too late to save me. All Muggles who ever gazed upon me are now dead because of me. I am a very influential person, am I not?
You have probably heard of my brother, Albus. He turned out to be very influential. Very powerful. The best headmaster Hogwarts has ever known. Yet he is why I died. His strange obsession with finding good in everyone killed me, and yet he died as a result of an attempt to apologize to me. I remember him so well. Shoulder length auburn hair since the time he was 7 (That's the youngest I remember him. He's 5 years older than me), and a wispy beard from the time he turned 17. And those eyes! Bright blue, always sparkling with happiness and intelligence. And yet he more or less killed me.
You have probably heard of my brother, Aberforth. He wasn't half as influential as Albus. The most he ever did was to get himself convicted for performing inappropriate charms on a goat. He was the barman at the Hogs Head in Hogsmeade for many years, but few knew who he was! Brother of the famous Albus Dumbledore! Everyone he told thought he was crazy, and for good reason! How could a lowly barman be the brother of Albus Dumbledore?! Yet he was. He had the same eyes, and roughly the same hair, except it was a much lighter shade of auburn. So light it was almost red. He wore glasses from the time he was 10, and always solved arguments with a fight, yet he and Albus were best friends until Albus started Hogwarts.
You have probably heard of my father, Percival. He was sentenced to life in Azkaban for killing several muggle boys. All my doing of course. All because of the accident. He also had auburn hair, but it was always short, and he never had a beard. He was about half bald, and wore half moon glasses.
You have probably heard of my mother, Kendra. She gave up her life to take care of me after the accident. Yet, I killed her. She had pale blonde hair and blue eyes, and cared about me more than anything else in the world.
You have not heard of me. I am mystery itself. I am power. I have been attacked and the attacker. I have been killed and the killer. I have been watching. I have always been watching. I hide among the forever-blue skies, hiding in the trees, lurking beneath the ground. I have kept watch on Albus and Aberforth, along with the one who caused my death, and the Dark Wizard who succeeded him. I am power. I am mystery. I am invulnurable. I am Ariana Dumbledore.
