 Granger Grounded?

Last Tuesday an arrest was made connected to recent and horrifying murder of nearly ninety muggles in Hounslow. Harry Potter, head of the Magical Law Enforcement released the statement yesterday:

In the interest of the ongoing investigation I believe that the identity of the suspect should remain undisclosed. I would like to reassure the public that we are working hard to solve this case and there is no need to be afraid of another attack as we believe that this was a spontaneous outburst rather than anything planned or coordinated.

Despite the departments secretive nature there have been numerous rumours that the accused is in fact the missing Hermione Granger. There are even members of the Ministry of Magic who can say that they saw the 29-year-old War Heroin in the Ministry Atrium on last Tuesday, escorted by none other than our favourite blond Death Eater turned good, Draco Malfoy.

Are these two occurrences coincidental or related? Well it obvious that there must be some link between the two and as the general public we are only allowed to speculate.

However through one reliable source I have come into the knowledge that it was in fact Miss Granger who was arrested and removed from the Magical Law Enforcement department offices.

Whatever is happening in the Ministry it is sure to cause a great amount of speculation.

Hermione winced at the headline article,

Harry must be having a head fit Hermione thought as she reread the article.

“I’m twenty-five.” She muttered and then turned the page.

On the next page was large picture of her own self looked back at her.

Granger Revealed, the face of a murderer?

Many of you may be familiar with the face of Hermione Granger, missing for the past five years and of course highly venerated War Hero. But is this really the face of a murderer? We at the Prophet decided to ask her old friends and some those people who have, over the years come into contact with her.

Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley were unavailable for comment, but there is far more to this woman than just Potter and Weasley.

The bright eyed , but scarred Lavender Brown tells us that “ [Hermione Granger] was always jealous of me and Ron [Weasley] and she resented me for being better than her at Divination.”

“Once she even tried to kill me with birds!”

Is this the actions of a good and kind war hero?

When we posed the question, ‘Do you think that Hermione Granger would murder ninety Muggles?’ To the Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Professor Minerva McGonagall we were treated to a frank “NO!”

But do the ramblings of an old, possibly senile woman really matter that much?

We then asked her fellow ex-Gryffindor Seamus Finnegan about Hermione he replied.

“She was always nice to me, a little bossy, but pleasant. And I doubt very much that she would have killed those muggles.”

The ravishing beauty of Pansy Parkinson tells another side to Miss Granger.

“She was a snobby know-it-all who was teacher’s pet and no one liked her. From what I have heard, she even carried around a copy of Magick Moste Evile for a whole year.”

Magick Moste Evile has been banned from Hogwarts for the past half of a centenary and nearly all know copies in Britain and Ireland have been destroyed. So how is it that Miss Granger at the age of seventeen was able to obtain such a book?

Asking a random person on Diagon Alley what they thought of Hermione Granger we received this answer.

“I sold her a cat in her third year and well I didn’t really know her. But the war can do strange things to people. Killing muggles though is not what she would do.” The man was adamant that Granger would as likely to kill muggles as she was to marry a Death Eater.

But with the recent sightings of Miss Granger and Draco Malfoy in the Atrium of the Ministry of Magic, it seems more likely that she could kill muggles.

After a long stream of letters we were finally able to track down her ex-boyfriend and world rewound Bulgarian Quidditch star Victor Krum, but sadly his mumblings were incomprehensible so once could only presume that there was something wrong with him.

Very little is known of Miss Granger’s childhood years as she spent them with her muggle parents in a muggle town, even less is known about her where about  for the last five years. What evil activities has Miss Granger been dabbling in? Is she even still recognisable, or has her nose become like Voldemorts? No one knows, and you will have to wait until the trial (date yet to be set).

Rita Skeeter,

“Augh!!” she screamed, tearing the page out and crumpling it up and throwing it at the door.

“Lies, it’s all lies!!” she cried, tears spilling out of her eyes.

She was glad that Seamus thought she was okay and that McGonagall was still behind her. What was troubling her most was how Pansy Parkinson knew that she carried Magick Moste Evile around for a year, only Harry and Ron knew about that.

Some of the things that she had read were ridiculous, Voldemort’s nose? Malfoy? And Lavender Brown!

In her anger Hermione had torn up all of the sheets from the newspaper and now her crumpled face lay on the floor looking blankly back at her.

She curled up on the bed and began to sob uncontrollably.

Draco had just returned from Harry’s office to ask Granger one question on something that was amiss when he heard a frustrated scream.

He slid the viewing hatch back on the door.

“Granger, what are you doing?” Draco asked as if he was tied of her already,

She didn’t reply but continued to cry.

The door creaked open and he walked towards her. Then he stopped and bent down to pick up the rather screwed up front page of the Newspaper.

“Oh I see that you have seen the Prophet, it’s not particularly a nice picture of you and I don’t like how they refer to me, our favourite little blond Death Eater turned good. That just is not... and how they refer to me and you as if there is something and I doubt that I would be anywhere on your list to marry...’” there was a pause.

“Pansy’s still causing problems and the departments been overrun with letters of anger. Also Harry is really worried; he doesn’t know who the leek is. It’s all a bit hectic.”

Draco sat down on the stool which Harry had sat on the previous day.

“Did you really carry Magic Most Evil around for a year?” he finally asked as if he was genuinely curious.

Hermione sat up and wiped her tears, smiling slightly.

“Yeah, I was stuff to do with Voldemort. I just want to know how she knew about it!” Hermione said fiddling with her fingers.

Harry, Ron and Hermione had decided that they would keep the Horcrux element of Voldemort under wraps for a while generally because they weren’t sure if the world could handle that aspect of him. It was in his file of course, but if there was a general knowledge of what Voldemort had done then there would me a fascination in to it and then as Harry had put it “Problems would arise.”

“Didn’t you tell her?” Malfoy asked frowning,

“No, why would I?”

Finally Hermione remembered something and was ready to break her promise, “Skeeter is an unregistered Animagus.”

“Ah, how...?” Malfoy realised a lot of things then.

In the past week Hermione had been thinking, thinking about a lot of things.

“I have an idea,” she said hopefully.
