“Wow Ginny! This really is a fancy restaraunt". I tell her when we get to our there. I look at the table and I notice that there are four places set instead of two. “hey Ginny, this must be a mistake, its only the two of us.” She hastily looks around avoiding my eyes. She looks behind me and smiles. Before I can turn around,
“Well hello ladies, you both look lovely.” Blaise Zabini is standing there with
“Draco!” I say with a surprise. Ive haven’t even seen him for five seconds and im already on the verge of tears.
“Hermione.” He says quite similarly.
We just stare into each other’s eyes for what seemed like forever, but was really only a few minutes. Then self conciencely he pulls a chair out for me when I sit down. He sits on my left, while ginny sits on my right, and blaise on her’s. (AN: we are in a square, if you didn’t get the picture.) “ Ginny, im sorry but I cant do this.” I say as I get up,tears starts rolling down my cheeks. I run outside. And Draco follows me.
*Draco’s POV*
‘Wow she looks amazing,I think to myself. ‘and shes wearing Slytherin colors. That explains why Blaise made me wear Gryffindor colors. (AN: oh yeah, he noticed ;) ) I see Hermione get up and run outside. I decide to follow her, ‘this could be my chance.'
“Hermione wait!” I call after her. I see that she is crying, and she doesn’t turn around when I call her name.
*General POV Back At the Table*
“well I think that went well.” Blaise says sarcastically. Ginny punches him in the arm. “Ow! The nights not over yet.”
Ginny shakes her head. “I figured that it would go better than it did.”
Blaise nods in agreement. “Do you think he’ll do it?”
Ginny looks at Blaise and sighs, “I don’t know, I hope he does, im tired of seeing them both is so much pain.”
*Hermione’s POV*
I hear him call after me, but im afraid that if I turn around and look at him, im deffinately going to lose it. “Draco! Im so sorry. I, I just couldn’t marry you. I was just so scared of everything that was happening. I think about that moment every day, and I always think about what would have happened if I had said yes!” I had tears pouring down my face now.
“Hermione, ive missed you so much! I understand why you said no. and maybe that wasn’t the right time to ask. I always think that if you had said yes, then we would probably be the happiest people in the world, we would have kids, and everything would be perfect, but,”
“I walked away.” I finished for him. He nods. “out of every mistake that I have ever made, that is the one that I regret the most.” I look into his blue-grey eyes and I saw that he was crying. “Hermione,” he bends down on one knee and I gasp, ‘I cant make the same mistake twice, because the second time it isnt a mistake, it’s a choice.’
“Ive, kept this ring, and I take it everywhere with me, because I promised myself that the next time I saw you, I would try again.” Im crying even harder and I have huge butterflies in my stomach.
*General POV*
“hey Blaise,” he looks up from fiddling with the fork, Ginny looks at her phone, “they’ve been gone for a while. Should we go check on them?”
“why?” he asks her.
“well, we need to make sure they haven’t bitten each other’s heads’ off, or to see if they are even there still!”
He lets out a sigh and then lazily gets up. “fine.”
They both walk outside and gasp at what they see.
*Draco’s POV*
"Hermione, even though you said no the first time, it still doesnt change the fact that i love you. i always have, and i always will. i cant stand to be away from you, these past five years have been hell for me. please, i just have to ask one more time; will you do me the honour, of marrying me?"
Hermione covers her mouth with her hands and she closes her eyes and lets the tears fall. When she opens her eyes she leans down and hugs me.
she pulls back and says “Oh Draco, of course I will! This time I am not walking away!” I pick her up and I kiss her with such a passion that I have never given. ‘for once, everything is perfect’ I think to myself. I look into her beautiful eyes. “And don’t forget, no walking away."
