The next day Ginny burst into my dorm and woke me up. Sitting up, I groggily looked at the clock.

“Gin, why? It is 7 in the bloody morning.”

“Because you have a date today remember?”

“Not until two in the afternoon. Aren’t you supposed to be on patrol?”

“In half an hour. Now get your arse out of bed.”

I stepped out of the queen sized bed and Ginny shoved me into my bathroom. She turned on the water and poured in a bubble bath. As it was filling the nice sized tub she began picking through my bath sets. She final was content with the way one smelled and took out the lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner that was the set.

“You are not to leave this tub until I return from patrol in an hour. You are only to use the scent I picked out, and relax.”

“Fine.” She left and I got into the tub. Even though it was really early, a bath always felt nice, and it worked miracles for stress.

I sunk low into the bath until my hair was completely soaked. Then I lathered the Aqua scented shampoo into my hair. It was a cool scent that reminded me of a Carrabin Island the summer the grangers had taken me. The scent was infused with lily, white roses, teakwood, freesia sandalwood as well as some other soft scents.

I just let my hair soak up the shampoo, as it would help to both smooth and clean my hair. The longer it stayed in my hair the stronger the scent of Aqua would be. Eventually I sunk under the water again and rinsed my hair before running the conditioner through my hair as well. While it sat soaking I washed my body with the body wash. I had just finished rinsing it out when a knock sounded on my bathroom door.

“Okay Rena,” Ginny called, “I’m back get out, dry off put on lotion and then the robe I’m about to throw in there.”

I did as instructed, but shook my head as I was doing it. When I walked back into my bedroom, Ginny was nowhere to be found, I even checked the closet. A few minutes passed and Ginny came back armed with coffee and an apple.

“Oh! Good, you are done. Here, eat this and drink this. You will have to brush your teeth again later though.” Ginny said and I just glared at her.

“Well. Time do do your hair. Ginny said plugged in a curling iron and said a drying spell on my hair. She then poured an anti-frizz oil over it.

“I thought we were doing my hair clip idea.”

“I changed my mind, I’m curling it too.”

I just sighed. Typical Ginny.

She began to curl my long black strand and an hour later she shoved me back into the bathroom.

I brushed my teeth. When I came back out, she did my make-up. I don’t know how, or why, but it took her a freaking hour to finish it. It was now 10 in the morning!

“Rena, Draco is downstairs so we are not dressing you up yet but you have three  hours before you are to get back here. Go eat something.” I was free! I turned and picked out a pair of jeans and a tank and threw them on before Ginny could change her mind. I ran down the stairs and straight into Blaise.

“Hi!”

“Hi sis. What has you in such a hurry?”

“Food, I said running into the kitchen.”

I ate a sandwich and had a cup of tea. I did this all with a nose in my favorite book, Emma, by Jane Austen.

Three hours later on the dot I ran returned to my bedroom to get dressed. I took my clothes from Ginny and changed in the bathroom. It was one and I had an hour before I was supposed to meet Draco in the Common room. I changed, Reapplied my makeup, freshend up my hair, clipped it back and Walked out for Ginny’s final seal of approval.

“Perfect.” She smiled. “Pack your purse. Lipgloss, wand, coin purse, etc.

When I had done that, it was time to leave so I grabbed it and walked down the stairs where Draco was waiting, His mouth fell open when he saw me, and the day of torture was worth it just for that look.

“Hi.” I smiled when I reached him

“Hi.” He kissed my cheek. “How are you.”

“I’m well, and you sir?”

He laughed. “I’m well as well Miss. Zabbini.”

I looped my hand into his arm and we walked out the gates and down the path to Hogsmede.

“So, what is planned for this wonderful afternoon?”

“Oh you know I just thought we might go to The Three Broomsticks for drinks and then maybe walk around and shop I suppose.”

“Sounds good.”

“Rena?”

“Hmmm?”

“I like you.”

“I like you to.”

“You look beautiful today.”

“Thank you.”

“What are you drinking?”

“Butter beer will be fine, thank you.”

Draco returned with our drinks and smiled at me.

I returned the smile and took my drink.

We made small talk and just began to learn things about each other that we never would have if we hadn’t done this. We opted out of shopping and after drinks we just returned back to Hogwarts because we had spent the day at the Three Broomsticks.

Instead we went to our own kitchen; we both cooked, a pasta and a salad, and continued to talk. We sat there well into the night until I looked at my watch and realized that it was already midnight. Draco kisses me goodnight, for real this time. It was nice. No that is a lie. It was prefect, I melted into him and didn’t want to let go.

“Goodnight.” I whispered.

“Night Rena.”

“I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Yup at breakfast.”

I walked into my dorm and fell into bed.

“Details.” A voice sounded from the dark and I jumped.

“Ginny! You scared me. I’ll tell you about it tomorrow. I’m too tired.”

“Fine. Goodnight Serena.”
