Disclaimer: I don't own anyone you recognize...

I sigh as I glance at the clock. James is late. I grumble to myself as I start downstairs, but stop before I turn the corner.

James must have swung himself over the counter because he’s sitting in a chair with Amelia on his lap. He whispers something softly in her ear and she lets out a slight laugh as he leans down and kisses her, a smile still on his face.

I roll my eyes at this. It’s amazing what three weeks can do for a couple… I finally give up on sitting here and watching them like some creepy stalker would.

“Hey, lovebirds,” I say as I walk up to the desk casually. James swivels the chair around and glares at me. Amelia turns bright red. I nod to James. “You missed your appointment.”

James rolls his eyes. “Just add me in tomorrow. I’ll pop on by.”

I shake my head in exasperation. “Yeah. It’s not like I have anything else to do with my time…” I catch the looks they’re giving me and sigh, “Okay. Fine. You two go… Do whatever you do.”

Amelia and James both raise an eyebrow at my awkward sounding statement.

As I turn to leave, Amelia pipes up, “Oh, and Scorpius…”

“Yes?” I ask, turning back to look at her.

“Your mother was here earlier. Something about Emma. And then she mentioned your grandparents.”

My face must look pretty good because James begins to laugh hysterically, barely able to get a breath in.

Amelia smiles at me and then turns and hits James lightly on the arm, which somehow turns into a full on snogging session.

I gag. “You two are utterly disgusting, you know that?”

James looks up at me and smirks; I raise an eyebrow and smirk back, which causes Amelia to giggle.

Shaking my head I turn out of the room calling, “See you tomorrow, James!” over my shoulder. I turn and glare at him pointedly and he raises his hands in surrender, smirking again.

As I turn to apparate home I feel something buzz in my pocket. I jerk upright slightly and pull out my cell phone (yes, I know what it is and how it works, even if my family doesn’t) and answer, saying, “Er… Hello?”

“And Scorpius Malfoy finally answers his phone,” A mocking, sarcastic voice sounds in my ear, causing me to pause.

“Who is this?” I ask after a moment, glancing about.

“You don’t recognize me?” The voice sounds hurt now, and I suddenly freeze and then let out a long laugh.

“Emilio! You nearly gave me a heart attack.”

Emilio Anderson chuckles. “I couldn’t have scared you that bad, Malfoy. Theo was better when he was telling you he was watching you. You freaked.”

I sigh slightly, smirking. “You got me.” I shake my head and, shoving my hands into my pockets out of boredom, ask, “What’s up?”

“We’re having a get together in about ten minutes at the White Cross. You nearby?” Emilio’s voice is fairly flat, but I’ve spent enough time around him to figure out when he’s excited.

I smile at his enthusiasm and find myself unable to turn down his request. Besides, it’s been so long since I’ve seen them…

I pretend to pause for a moment, as if I’m figuring out how far away I am from White Cross, when I finally say, “I think I can make it in ten minutes.”

Emilio’s excitement flares and he says, “Right! See you there, then.”

He hangs up, and I put my phone back in my pocket, smiling slightly to myself. I glance at my watch, sighing.

I was going to sleep, but in truth I’d rather spend time with the boys than go sit at home and mope some more.

I turn quickly on my heel and apparate to an obscure point about five minutes away from White Cross. I take my time walking there, and when I enter, in exactly ten minutes from my phone call with Emilio (my timing is impeccable) I spot the five of them, already seated, waving to me.

I make my way over to them through the crowd, ignoring the people crowded around, the noise level that always seems to be at ten and focus on the people I haven’t seen in nearly five months.

I smile and slide into the bench, bumping Emilio slightly with my elbow. He turns, his dark hair falling into his dark eyes and gives me a mock glare.

Percy, his light green eyes shimmering, greets me with, “Oi, Malfoy, took you long enough to answer our calls!”

I smirk at him and open my mouth to respond, but Theo, ever so short with his blonde hair, small glasses, and violet eyes, cuts me off with, “Yeah, I was just about to whip out the ol’ ‘I see you’ thing again.”

I shudder at that. “Mer— God, if you ever do that again Theo, I’m going to bloody murder you.”

“Oh, there’ll be a lot of blood alright,” Jace agrees, a devious look lighting his sparkling blue eyes.

I roll my eyes at him and he just smirks and shrugs at me. David shakes his head at us, exasperation lighting his face and finally asks, “How have you been, Scorpius?”

I smile slightly, leaning back on the bench and admit, “Pretty good. I feel bad I’ve been missing your calls though. I’ve been busy for the past month.”

“Studying,” Emilio mutters under his breath, smirking at me.

I feel my brow furrow as I turn to look at him. “What—?”

“That’s all you ever do, mate,” Emilio informs me. “Study. Work. Study. Work. Study. Work. Study. And, oh, guess what! Work.”

I blink at him and Jace shrugs finally admitting, “It’s kinda true, Scorp. You need to lighten up a bit!”

After a short pause I let out a bark of laughter and say, “My, my, boys, I think this conversation sounds quite familiar.”

“Does it really?” Percy asks, his eyes twinkling. “I really only thought we’d been having it for the past eight years…”

Theo laughs, pushing his glasses back up his nose lightly.

I shake my head, sighing and finally say, “Is all the teasing necessary? I’m not here to be picked on…” I fake a rather pathetic frown and pout.

David lets out a snort, and I flash a smirk. “How’s all that private practice shit going for you, Scorpius?” Emilio asks, placing his arms behind his head, and winking at me.

I roll my eyes. “It’s fine. Not the easiest thing, I’ll admit, but it’s not too difficult. You just have no work ethic, Emilio.”

“Yeah well you have too much of it,” he retorts.

“I wasn’t a Ravenclaw for nothing,” I mutter to myself, smirking, and Emilio gives me an odd glance, asking, “What?”

I shake my head and say, “Right. Maybe that’s why you don’t have any. I probably have enough for the both of us, don’t I?”

Theo laughs at us again. I realize that he’s kind of that person who just sits there and laughs at everyone else’s stupid comments. This realization makes me chuckle, and Percy turns to look at me, his eyes narrowing, almost as if he heard my Ravenclaw remark.

Jace looks towards the bar with a grin, nods to David and Emilio, and, after excusing themselves, saunter over to the bar and start talking up a few of the girls.

I roll my eyes. “Bloody hell,” I mutter to myself. “They don’t ever stop, do they?”

Theo, being the ever playful, over dramatic, childish one of the group, sticks his tongue out in the general direction of the other three. “It’s a guy’s night, you pricks! Get back over here!”

I shake my head at him, smirking, and Percy sighs, leaning against his hand, as he looks at me calmly.

“What’s up?” I ask.

He shrugs slightly and admits, “Just kind of wish that my girlfriend was here. At least I would have someone to talk to other than you gits…”

Theo fakes an offended gasp and I raise an eyebrow at Percy, asking, “Girlfriend?” He smiles slightly, nodding, and I hold up my hands in a backup type of motion. “Whoa, whoa, whoa!” I say. “Since when did this happen?”

Percy looks down at his hands for a moment and then back up at me, admitting quietly, so he's hard to hear over the din in the bar, “A few months ago. She’s on vacation right now with some of her family.”

Theo wiggles an eyebrow at Percy, who shoves him slightly, and, smirking, I ask, “What’s her name?”

I take a sip from a glass of water sitting on the table, wishing it was pumpkin juice instead. Pumpkin juice tastes better anyways.

He glances at me and finally says, “Roxanne. Roxanne Weasley.”

I nearly choke on my imaginary pumpkin juice (water). “Roxanne… Weasley?”

Theo thumps me hard on the back, causing me to cough rather loudly again, causing him to hit me again, which just makes me annoyed, overall. So I hit his shoulder. Hard. I smirk as he winces.

I turn to Percy and say, “Erm, yeah, actually. I’ve met her once or twice. Nice bird.” Percy narrows his eyes at me and I add, “I’m friends with her cousins, mate. Don’t give me that look.”

He turns slightly red and finally asks, “Which ones? She says she’s got a lot of them.”

“Cousins?” I repeat with a smirk. “That she does…” After I chuckle to myself for a moment I say, “I’m around James, Al, and Rose a lot.” I shrug slightly and smile at Percy, and continue, “She’s got about six or seven female cousins, not to mention her brother and her six or seven other male cousins, so I suggest you don’t cross her, mate. I know them enough to know that when you hurt a Wotter you get a beating.” I didn’t even realize my slight slip up until Percy asks, “Er, Scorpius, what’s a Wotter?”

I blink, and finally say, “Er… Weasleys… Potters… You know… Wotters…?” I smile in probably a demented manor and Percy nods slowly, probably thinking that I’m just strange.

It wouldn’t be the first time.

Theo tilts his head at us and says, “Hmm… These ‘Wotter’ girls sound nice.” He wags an eyebrow again. “Think you can hook me up, huh? What about the Rose girl? That’s a pretty name. Rose.”

I take a deep breath in through my nose and say, “Theo. Don’t. Touch. Rose.”

He glances at me and asks playfully, “Oooh, does Scorpy have a little crush?”

I grimace slightly and finally say, “Sure. Yeah.” I sigh. “God, yes. I’ve liked her since I was eleven.”

“And the mystery of why you never dated is solved at last!” Percy exclaims as if he’s discovered how to have world peace.

I roll my eyes and then turn to Theo. “Look, mate, if you want to hook up with a Wotter girl than I’ll introduce you to Lily sometime, alright?”

Theo shrugs, and I ruffle his hair in return, which earns me a glare. I shrug nonchalantly and back off, but he’s still glaring slightly at me, as if saying: Don’t touch my hair, Malfoy.

“How’d you meet her?” I ask Percy, interested. I’m not really that close to Roxanne, but her seeking out muggles to talk to just seems a little weird in my mind.

Percy shrugs. “We met in a bookstore. I asked her if she needed help finding something, and then we just… got to talking.” After a pause he glances at me and says, “She mentions really weird things sometimes, too.” He bites his lip and leans in closer to us, asking, “Do you have any idea what a ‘muggle’ is?”

I stiffen slightly but Theo just snorts. “That’s the strangest sounding word I’ve ever heard in my life.”

I tilt my head, pretending to think really hard. “Er… Nope,” I finally say, shrugging slightly. “Never heard that one in my life.”

Percy frowns. “Or Ravenclaw or Gryffindor? Slytherin? Hufflepuff?”

I shake my head as Theo snorts again.

Percy bites his lip and finally says, “It’s really weird, she’ll just mention them casually and then blush like she said something completely wrong. I asked her once what she was talking about and she just said, ‘I’m too comfortable around you. I always say things I don’t mean to say.’”

I fake a frown, rubbing my forehead. “I have no clue. Sorry.”

He shrugs. “I just thought you might know because she mentioned you once.”

I blink and shoot him a glance. After a moment I finally ask in a slightly squeaky voice, “What… What did she say?”

Percy’s eyes narrow, as if he’s thinking really hard. “Something about Ravenclaw. And then… Voldemort something or other? And Death Eaters? Which literally made no sense whatsoever, but, yeah, you know…”

I choke. “Voldemort?” What is wrong with this girl? Can she keep her mouth shut at all?

“I know, what the hell?” Theo agrees, laughing and I give a rather nervous sounding laugh and join in. Percy shakes his head and smiles.

“She’s a little strange sometimes, I’ll admit,” he says, “but… She’s perfect. She really, really is.”

“Oooh,” Theo says, laughing. “Is someone in loooveee?”

I glance at him. “Why are you stretching out the vowels in everything you say?”

He shrugs. “Effect.”

I snort and look to Percy, who’s rather red and looking at his hands.

“Oh. My. Gosh,” I mutter, as if I’ve just had some new revelation. “You really are in love with her!”

Percy so eloquently responds with, “No shit, Sherlock.”

I blink slowly. “Wow. I thought my detective skills were actually rather good, Johnson. You got a problem with it?”

“Reverted back to the last name, pick a fight attitude, have we?” Theo asks, elbowing me. I slug him on the arm, causing him to wince, and turn back to Percy, who’s smirking at me.

Percy rolls his eyes, and I flash a smirk back. Theo leans up and ruffles my hair. I turn and glare at him.

He gives a slight shrug and finally asks, “So, erm, what’s this Lily girl like?”

I smirk slightly at him. (I realize that I smirk a lot. Probably too much. I should try to at least smile or do something else every once and a while. Curse that Malfoy family trait.) “Lily Potter.” Percy leans back slightly and Theo nods. “She’s the younger sister of Al and James, who’re my mates, and a Wotter. So, if you hurt her, I assure you you’ll hurt even more by the time their all through with you.” Theo winces slightly and Percy laughs. I chuckle. “She’s a sweet girl, really. I mean, she’s kind of crazy at times, but she’s a lot like you.” Theo raises an eyebrow and I shrug. “It’s true,” I say after a moment.

Then, after a moment I glance at my watch. I know that I either have to leave last or first so none of the guys will notice that I don’t have a car. I figure I might as well leave first.

“I’ve got work tomorrow,” I inform them. “I should probably go get some sleep.”

“Ah,” Jace says as he walks back to the table, overhearing me. “You’re no fun, Scorpius. It’s not even midnight yet.”

“Yeah, well I’d like to go home before midnight, thank you very much.”

Theo punches my arm in farewell (Merlin, this kid…) and Percy smiles at me, calling as I stand up and leave, “See you later, Scorpius!”

I catch David and Emilio waving as I leave. I walk a short distance away from the bar to a secluded point and apparate home, a smile still written across my face.

A/N: Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry for the long wait on this chapter. After I wrote the first part with James and Amelia I just had no idea where to go. I was going to do something with Draco, but I've realized I use him as a cop-out too much. The boys popped into my head last night when I was thinking about Scorpius and his time at "muggle medical school."

If you're wondering about the boys, Scorpius, Percy, Theo, Emilio, Jace, and David all went to Cambridge for medical school. That's where they all met.

Anyhow, again, I apologize for the super long wait, but I hope you enjoyed. :)

A review would be lovely and most welcome.
