Oh hi guys! It’s your friendly neighborhood Doormuffin here. I got this WILD idea for a fanfic and just had to write about. Let me know if you want me to keep writing it based on this story line, alright? And even if you don’t want me to, I probably will anyways… But yeah, see you at the bottom!
__________
When Harry Potter broke the Elder wand, he thought he had gotten rid of its power too. This was not the case. The wand was merely a shell, connected to the shells of the other two Hallows. When the wand broke, the rest broke too, releasing the powers out to the world in search of another shell. The power of the wand went to the last person Harry Potter had taken a wand from; Draco Malfoy. His son Scorpius was born with the powers of the elder wand.
Scorpius Malfoy was nothing like his father, with a few exceptions. While Scorpius had the same wit and charm, he was kind and didn’t judge people based on their blood status. It was how his mother had raised him.
At the age of 6, Scorpius found out that he could use any object he wanted to channel his magic. He had no use for a wand. After all, who needed a wand when you could use something as handy as a twig or a spoon? He kept this well hidden from his parents though. Once, when he was younger, and before he discovered his talent, Scorpius used his father’s wand on the Thanksgiving turkey. It turned a bright purple color and swell to two times its size. He had been grounded and locked up in his room until Halloween.
When Scorpius finally did get his wand, he was a natural. Once taught the incantation and movements, he performed spells that outdid those cast by people five years older than him. His favorite was the patronus charm. It had been easily conjured by him half way through the first year, and he enjoyed walking through the halls with a cute little husky puppy wagging its tail and following him.
The power of the cloak went to the daughter of the person who appreciated it the most; Hermione Grangers daughter Rose Weasley. Why didn’t it go to the descendants of the family who had owned its shell for years? James, Albus, and Lily Potter lacked traits that the cloaks powers desired. The Potter children were far too ‘out there’ and were deemed unworthy of invisibility. They would surely abuse the power.
But when the golden trio was discussing the Hallows, it was Hermione that said the cloak was the best. So the power of the cloak fed to her, and waited for a new life to be created so it could fill the void of the child. Rose Weasley was Ron and Hermione`s first child, and though her hair was a vibrant red, she preferred to blend into the crowd. Rose wasn’t shy, per say, but she never liked to be the center of attention like her cousins. She was more down to earth like her mother, and the cloak’s powers consumed her instantly.
When Rose was 7, she had accidently knocked over her Gran’s 7 layer cake. She was covered in chocolate frosting and crumbs, and desperately needed to sneak out of the house to wash up. Footsteps were coming closer and closer, and Rose had never more in her life (up to then at least) wished to be invisible. She squeezed her eyes shut and tensed her entire body. The door of the kitchen opened.
Her mother gasped. Rose knew she had been caught.
“Oh my goodness, what HAPPENED?” Hermione gasped. Rose opened her mouth to explain.
“It must have been Crookshanks. That blasted cat!” her mother concluded, running her hands through her hair and looking very distressed. She turned and left the room, leaving Rose astonished. Her mother had not seen her? Looking down at herself, Rose’s heart skipped a beat. Where were her legs? Her stomach? Her too-small feet? All gone! Rose was scared. She wanted her body back, NOW. No sooner than she had thought the words, her body came into view. What was happening? Rose didn’t have time to contemplate it just then. She could hear more footsteps coming towards the kitchen. Quickly wishing she was invisible again, and marveling as it happened, Rose Weasley slipped out the back door and washed up behind the shed.
When Rose came to Hogwarts, she found it very easy to get places and to spy on people. She had never done anything mischievous, but she had gotten her fair share of interesting books from the restricted section of the library. She had never shared her secret with anyone before. And she never planned on doing so either.
But who has the power of the most dangerous Hallow, the resurrection stone? Harry Potter left it in the forbidden forest, and though he had gone back searching for it many times in his job as Headmaster, he has not been able to find it to this day. Where did it`s power go? And what has the person who possesses its power done?
