Chapter 2
Lilly

Ginny just stood there, unable to speak. Harry turned to look were Lilly was standing. Lilly had long black hair and green eyes, his eyes, his mother’s eyes. Understanding came across Harry’s face. He had a daughter. He had a family.

A family was something he had wanted his whole life. Yes he had the Dursleys, but to him they weren’t family. As much as he loved Hermione and the Weasley’s, he still wanted his own family. A wife, children of his own, a family. He wanted Ginny. He wanted her to be the mother of his children and now she was. He knew what he had to do. He should have done if years ago. He was going to ask for Ginny’s hand.

“Lilly sweetheart, let’s go get your dinner.” Mrs. Weasley said to her only granddaughter as she guided her out of the room.

“Lilly?” whispered Harry. His heart stopped. She named his daughter after his mother.

All Ginny could do was nod.

Harry looked longingly at the direction Molly Weasley and his daughter had disappeared in. Tears slowly started to fall. Harry squeezed Ginny tighter. His Ginny, his daughter; how could this be real? Harry closed his eyes and opened them. She was still there.

“I came home to find my family and I find out the best news of all. I have a daughter, a daughter who is as beautiful as her mother.” Harry said kissing her again. He could get used to this, having her in his arms again. He was never letting them go.

Ginny smiled as tears continued to fall. He was home and he still wanted her. He was thrilled at having a daughter. She could see it in his eyes.

“Does she know I’m her father?” he asked her slightly scared that the answer was no.

“Lilly knows her father is Harry Potter, the greatest wizard in the world, the one who defeated Voldemort. She is very proud of that and wishes you were here every day she talks about you and to you daily. She can’t get enough Harry Potter stories she loves the one about how you rescued me from the Chamber of Secrets.” Ginny said.

Harry smiled and kissed her again.

 “HARRY!”

Harry turned around at the sound of his best friends. Hermione Granger, now Weasley, came barreling at him, crushing him into a hug that could rival her mother-in-law’s. Ron pulled him into a hug as well,

“Hey mate” Ron said smling.

“Ron, Hermione!” Harry exclaimed

“It’s so good to see you.”

Everyone had tears in their eyes. The golden trio was back together.

“Where the hell have you been mate? We have looked everywhere for you. Everyone
thought you were dead.” Ron asked.

“Sorry mate. I had amnesia. I’ve been living in America. It is beautiful there. I’ll take you there one day.” Harry smiled. He was happy to have his friends and Ginny back by his side.

The four of them walked into the kitchen and Harry was greeted by all the Weasley’s. All Harry could do was smile. Looking around he saw Bill and Fluer, George and his old schoolmate Angelina, Percy with someone he had never met. He also saw Charlie and Mr. Weasley. The only one missing was Fred.

Just as he was sitting down at the table he saw her again. His beautiful daughter Lilly, looking at him shyly. She walked over to him.

“Are you really Harry Potter?” she asked him. “Uncle George says you are. If it’s true, then you’re my dad.”

All harry could do was smile and nod. As the realization took over she wrapped her arms around him and he wrapped his around her as they both cried.

“Dad, are you going to leave again?” Lilly asked.

Harry smiled. He could get used to hearing that. DAD, he was a dad.

“If I do, you and your mom are coming with me” he replied.

Ginny looked on. Her dream had come true. The love of her life and father of her daughter were sitting in the family’s kitchen. She couldn’t be happier. Today was a day to celebrate.

“Harry dear, you’re looking a bit thin. Let me fix you some dinner then?” Mrs. Weasley said wiping her eyes.

The exchange between her adopted son and his daughter was getting to her. She had wished for this day for the past seven years. Since the day he disappeared. Today was a day they would not forget. Her sweet Ginny would have the happy ending she has wanted and that they both deserve. She saw wedding bells in the near future.

“Thanks Mrs. Weasley,” Harry said as he dug in.

“Harry, please call me Molly or Mum for now on. You are my son, always have been.”

Harry looked up at Molly with such love. With tears in his eyes again he stood up and wrapped his arms around her once again.

“Thanks Mum.” He whispered.

After dinner everyone continued to talk. Harry had Ginny on his right and Ron and Hermione on his left. Lilly was curled up in his lap.

“Harry, what was America like?” Ron asked.

“I lived in a small town called Plant City in the state of Florida. It was HOT but it was beautiful.” Harry said.

Harry then told everyone about how a girl named Crystal and her sister Amanda found him. About how they helped him and supported him. He also told them about how Luna found him and finding out Crystal was a witch.

“I should owl her and thank her for taking care of you.” Ginny said when he was done.

“Why don’t we invite Crystal and her family here? We could properly thank them, Weasley style!” George asked.

Everyone agreed. Harry would owl Crystal and invite her to the Burrow.
