It was 3 days away from the next Hogsmade trip and everyone was extremely excited about what they were going to do, except Hermione and Draco.
“So are you going to Hogsmade ‘Mione?” Draco asked as he sat down on one of the love seats.
“No. I’m staying here.” She replied as she followed Draco and threw her legs over his.
“Really? So am I.”
“Oh, cool.” As she said this their eyes met his blue sliver ones piercing her chocolate brown ones. All he could think of was how beautiful she had become. Her frizzy her was now soft brown curls that fell onto her shoulders and down her back, she had grown into her teeth and had filled out in all the right places. Anyone who said she wasn’t gorgeous was a fool. She smiled sweetly as she moved and sat on his lap snuggling into his shoulder.
“Moring Sleeping Beauty. You do know you missed watching everyone leave.”
“I did? YAY! I really did not want to listen to Ron try to convince me to come. Oh can you make me a cup of hot chocolate while I go get changed please?” She yelled from the bathroom.
“Ok.” He yelled back “But we are going swimming soon.”
“WHAT?”
“We. Are. Going. Swimming. To. Day.”
“But Why?”
“Cause I feel like.”
“Ok. But where?”
“Stop with the questions. It’s a surprise ok.” Just then Hermione bounded down the stairs in a singlet and board shorts.
“Fine.” She muttered. He smiled at this.
“NO ABSOLUTLY NOT!”
“Come on I’ll be there if you fall.”
“That’s not very comforting!”
“Mione, its ok, just jump on I’ll be behind you its fine.”
“You know I can’t fly.”
“Ok, I’ll fly and you can sit behind me.” He swung he leg over his broom and held out his hand for her.
“Ok fine, if I fall you’ll be the one to blame!” She said as she got on the broom behind Draco, wrapping her arms around his strong torso holding on for dear life. Draco chuckled as he kicked off the ground and flew over the Black Lake landing on a small beach. As Hermione went to get off she fell, pulling Malfoy down with her.
“Ahhhhhhh.” Hermione screeched as she landed on the soft sand. She looked up and saw Malfoy’s amazing silver eyes pouring into hers.
“Well this is cozy.”
“Shush, I fell ok. Now get off me.”
“Ok, fine but you’re going in the water first.” He said as he picked her up off the ground like she was a feather. He carried her bridal style over to the beautiful clear water.
“Draco don’t you dare. I WILL HEX YOU INTO OBLIVION!” By now he was waist high in water.
“I’m so scared. Ready. One.” He lifted her up a pit higher. His words filled with amusement.
“DRACO!”
“Two.” A little high
“NO! DRACO! NO!” she screamed as she tried to wiggle out of his strong grasp.
“Three.” And with that he dropped her into the water with a big splash.
Hermione swam to the top and gasped for air. Draco started to chuckle, then he laughed and soon he was almost falling over with laughter. Hermione playfully splashed him with water to stop him from laughing. He started to splash back until they were in a huge splashing fight. They both fell over a number of times.
“Ahhhhhhh! Stop!”
“Never!” Draco screamed at her as he grabbed her wrists and pulled her towards him. They both stopped splashing and stared into each other’s eyes. They were both breathing heavily to get their breath back. Hermione look away from his eyes and for the first time she noticed his sharp jaw bone, and perfect skin that was sparkling from the water and evening sun. His platinum blond hair was wet and hanging in his eyes. His lips were a soft pink and inching towards hers.
Then the whole world stopped as he pressed his lips to hers. He had one hand on the small of her back pulling her closer to him so they were chest to chest. His other hand found her hair and was intertwined with her curls. Hermione had one arm around his neck and one threw his hair. He gently stroked her bottom lip with his tongue. She gladly granted him entrance and was in a trace as their lips danced together.
Hermione pulled back for air and Draco continued to kiss her down her jaw, neck and collar bone. When she found his lips again it was paradise. He was drunk with the taste and feel of her.
“That was…… amazing.” Hermione breathed when they finally pulled apart.
“I aim to please.” Draco chuckled then led her out of the water, dried them off with a quick spell then they flew back to Hogwarts.
