Rose was just creeping into the common room from the boys dormitories when Lily walked through the portrait hole.
“Rose, you startled me” said Lily. At this point, anything would startle her.
“Where were you?” asked Rose. Lily couldn’t bear to tell Rose that she had slept with Scorpous, even if she hadn’t known it was him at the time.
“Out” she said tentatively. It was wrong. Lily could practically feel the words pouring out of her mouth. “Rosie…”
Rose didn’t know how to tell Lily that she had slept with Collin. What’s worse was, Collin thought he had slept with Lily! She was just a poor, sweet, innocent girl, it would crush her to know that her best friend had betrayed her like that. It would crush her even more if she had to find out later, and from someone else. It would hurt more if Collin had to tell her.
“Lily…”
Al and Adi woke up to the sound of screaming. Adis’ charms had worn off and when Al saw her the first thing he said was
“Huh?”
“Puje*, I’ll explain later” she said and darted into the common room to find Rose and Lily at each other’s throats.
“YOU BITCH”
“YOU’RE THE BITCH”
“I ONLY SLEPT WITH HIM BECAUSE YOU WERE WITH THE OTHER ONE”
“A LIKELY STORY”
“WHAT YOU DON’T BELIEVE ME?”
“WHY SHOULD I? YOU JUST COMMITTED THE ULTIMATE BETRAYAL”
“YOU DID THE SAME THING BITCH”
“IM NOT A BITCH YOU’RE A BITCH” and so on and so forth –
“Zibushke**” shouted Adi, doing the only thing she could think of to make them stop.
“WHAT DO YOU WHAT ADINE?” they shouted in unison.
Adi couldn't think of any other way to break up the fight, and god knows she tried, but everything else she thought of just would have made them more angry with each other. So...
“I slept with Al…”
Al went to visit Jasmine as soon as he found out what had happened. And the whole time he was with her, he felt that he needed to be somewhere else. Not anywhere else, like he felt when his mother was scolding him, but in one particular place, and he couldn’t quite put his finger on it.
“Did you have fun at the party?” asked Jasmine.
“What? Oh, right, um, yeah, yeah, loads of fun” said Al.
“Al, are you feeling alright?” asked Jasmine. Al suddenly realized where he needed to be. He needed her. He had to get back to her. Albus Severus Potter was not one to go out with whores. He wasn’t going to continue seeing someone who cheated on him right in front of him.
“I’m really sorry Jasmine, but I can’t see you anymore” he said, and walked out of the room.
The girls sat together on the edge of Adi’s bed. They had all slept with the wrong boy. Well, almost all of them. Adi was secretly leaping for joy inside. That is, until a week later when Lily’s period didn’t come. And then the next month when she missed it again.
