2 Months Later:

Hermione gasped for breath as Ginny forced the zipper up on the last bit of dress. Hermione looked at herself in the full length mirror. Ginny glanced at her from the side. “You know, for someone who’s nearly four months pregnant, you don’t look half bad!” she said pointing at Hermione’s stomach. “You can barely tell there’s some kid in there!” Hermione laughed and put her hands over her stomach.

“Thanks Ginny, I guess you can’t really tell can you?” Hermione flattened down the wrinkles in her dress. The dress was a champagne color with a fitted bodice, lace sleeves, and a seven-foot train. It had diamonds sewn into the bodice and skirt. (Compliments of Draco’s mother).

“You know, I don’t look half bad,” piped up Hermione

“Actually,” stated Ginny, “I wouldn’t be surprised if Draco dropped dead when he see’s you.”

“Oh come on, his mouth wouldn’t even drop at the sight of me.”

“It’s true! I only speak the truth.” Hermione smiled. She did look beautiful. Her hair was half-up, half-down with curls at the end and a tiara placed on top of her head.

“Hey Ginny, where’s Luna, Amber and Allana?”

“Oh, I think they’re still getting their hair curled. But they better hurry up or they’ll have a reason to fear me.”

“Why?” Hermione half-smiled and laughed at her friend’s logic.

“Because,” Ginny said starting to get frustrated. “You need to be walking down that aisle in fifteen minutes! Oh,” she said getting calmer, “what’s with Draco always calling you ‘Mi? I’ve never heard anyone call you that before.”

“I don’t know, he’s just called me that ever since we were fourteen. It’s just kind of a sweet personal thing he made up for me.”

“Well I like it,” said Ginny smiling, “he seems to really care, which is weird because he IS The Ferret. He was never nice.”

“Oh okay, I get your meaning. I’m just starting to get worried. Where are Luna, Amber and Allana? They should be here.”

“You know what, I’ll go and find them.” Ginny stalked off and walked through the door as Christine Granger walked in. “Oh hi, Mrs. Granger. Bye Mrs. Granger.” Christine watched as Ginny stalked down the hall. “Okay, bye Ginny.” Christine rolled her eyes then walked up to Hermione and kissed her on the cheek. “You look beautiful sweetie. Don’t get me wrong, but I didn’t expect you to be getting married when you were eighteen, or being pregnant for that matter on your wedding day, but Draco’s a good man. I think he’ll be a great father and take good care of my little girl.”

Christine hugged her daughter tight and put a diamond necklace around her neck. “There,” smiled Christine. “It was my great-great-great grandmother’s you know. Every girl to get married on my side of the family has worn this necklace. And you really do look beautiful honey.”

Ron and Harry walked into the room and stopped in their tracks. Harry stared and said, “Wow. Herms, you look brilliant!” Hermione smiled. She really hated the nickname, but with all the memories the name had, it had grown on her.

“So Herms, you have to be walking down that aisle in five minutes, so I would suggest you get your butt down there.” Hermione nodded slowly. She was so nervous. She had never gotten married before. She walked down with Harry, Ron and her mom. They got to the bottom of the steps at the Granger’s country home. She was about ready to enter the garden. Her dad was waiting for her near the double doors.

Her mom hugged her. I love you sweetheart.” Christine walked to her seat and sat down next to Narcissa Malfoy.

“So, um, good luck then Hermione,” said Harry. He kissed her on the cheek and walked to where Draco was standing. Ron followed suit. Kissed her and walked down the aisle.

Hermione took hold of her father’s arm and stated towards the door. The wedding march had begun. Hermione shut her eyes as the doors opened, then opened them slightly only to be blinded by the bright sunshine.

Draco stood at the end of the aisle with Harry, Ron, Blaise and Neville (who took some convincing). Draco had a black tuxedo on with a champagne colored shirt and a black tie.

Hermione could see him smiling revealing pearly whites and talking to Harry at the time. She couldn’t help but smile. She was actually going to be married to him. To her, he was the most handsome man in the world. She couldn’t believe that in fifteen minutes, she was going to be Mrs. Draco Malfoy. And their son or daughter in her right now was going to be a Malfoy. They were going to be a family.

She got to the alter where her father, Jeremy, gave her hand to Draco and sat down next to his wife. Draco leaned towards Hermione and whispered, “You know, you look really pretty. I’m one heck of a lucky guy.”

Hermione smirked. ‘You know, I’m pretty lucky myself. You’re pretty dashing.” Draco straitened his tie and flashed a smile in her direction.

“I know, I try.” The minister had started to speak. “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join together in unity Mr. Draco Lucius Malfoy and Miss Hermione Jean Granger.”

The minister seemed to drag the ceremony out. (A/N: Imagine the pope from the Princess Bride) Finally it got to the best part. “Mr. Malfoy please place the ring on Miss Granger’s finger and Miss Granger please do the same.” Hermione and Draco exchanged rings. “I now give you Mr. and Mrs. Draco Malfoy. Mr. Malfoy you may kiss your bride.”

Draco moved in slowly. It wasn’t working for him. “Oh forget it!” he shouted. He grabbed Hermione’s waist and dipped her and kissed her fully on the lips, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. He broke away and smirked.

Hermione smiled and put her hand over her stomach and grabbed Draco’s with her free one. They turned to face the crowd who stood up and applauded. Narcissa and Christine both had tears in their eyes. Hermione and Draco walked down the aisle to get ready for the reception. It would be a long night.
