Note from the author: Hey everybody. I noticed my first story at this site a few days ago, and read through it. I was quite embarrassed by how many mistakes I made, so I decided to rewrite the chapter. Until I am finished, the chapters might not fit that well together. I hope you will understand, though, and I will try to rewrite every chapter as quickly as I can. Until then, I hope you enjoy this chapter, and feel free to review. I know I still have a lot of mistakes, but I hope the most obvious ones are gone now. Please review if you notice a huge mistake, and I will make sure to fix it as quickly as I can. Anyway, enjoy the chapter. It is very different from how it was before, but the plot is still the same. Enjoy :)
Once upon a time a little girl lived in a beautiful house with her father, mother and older sister. Okay, that’s enough. First of all, this girl is me. Secondly, this is not a fairytale. It’s more like the opposite. Nothing about my house or my family is beautiful at all. They are mean and a bunch of snobs. They are also perfectionists, and I doubt they have ever done anything bad in their life. In other words, they are very boring.
I have never really been a part of the family. We share the same last name and I do resemble them a bit, but apart from that everything is different. I’m a tomboy and a prankster, while they are the symbol of perfectionism and hard work. Because of this, I’m the outcast of the family. I’m the one they are embarrassed to talk about and the person they act like they are not related too. I don’t mind, though. I like to act like I’m not related to them as well.
I know hate is a strong word, but I really hate my own family. Well, mostly my dad. The others are okay. I only have a problem with dad. Why? Because he is constantly angry and have a tendency of yelling at me. The last time he yelled was actually yesterday, and it was because he had found out about my bad grades. Hey, not everybody can be good in school. Someone must be bad for someone to be good. That’s just the way it works. Unfortunately, I’m bad in school. I don’t have my parents’ brains like my sister does. Dad likes to say that I have no brain at all. A bit true, but I won’t say that to him. That would be like throwing oil on a fire. In other words, it just makes things worse.
Even though I hate my dad, I’ve never hated him as much as now. Yesterday, he crossed the line. Why? Because he yelled words that really got to me, words that probably are true. That is why I have decided it’s time for payback. My father is going to regret saying that. This year, I’m gonna make sure he regrets ever yelling at me, and I’m going to make him so angry and furious that he will never dare to say anything bad to me again. How? I have made one list with ten things, ten things that will really make my dad angry. This school year I’ll complete them all. After that, dad will never dare to yell at me again. It’s the best plan I have ever had. Okay, I have to admit it was my best friend, Roxanne, who came up with the plan, but I helped her. By the way, have I introduced myself? I’m Lucy Weasley and this is going to be the craziest sixth year at Hogwarts ever. Yes dad, you better watch out, because this is going to be one interesting year.
Note from the author: Sorry for the very short chapter. They will be longer from now on. Hope you enjoyed it :)
