"Hey, what's up?" Draco Malfoy said walking over to me. I turn around to see if he was talking to the person behind me, but there was no one there. "Um, not much," I said looking back down at the book I was pretending to read, hoping he'd take a hint and leave.
Instead of leaving he sat down next to me. "How do you like Hogwarts?" I looked up from my book and glared at him suspicously, "Why are you talking to me?" I asked. It was common knowledge to everyone at Hogwarts that Draco Malfoy hated all Gryffindors and the only time he talked to them was when he was torturing them. So I had no idea why he was talking to me.
"What, am I not allowed to talk to you?" He asked, a smirk on his face. "I didn't say that, I'm just wondering why the hell you're talking to me," I was slightly annoyed that he was bothering me. "I know who you are, Natalia" he said.
"Yeah, and I know who you are, too," I said rolling my eyes. "That's not what I meant," Draco said smiling, "I mean I know that you were trained by Emanalist and that you're here on a mission," he raised his eyebrows at me waiting for me to say something.
I looked around making sure no one could hear us. "How do you know that?" I whispered. "Because my parents told me. And I've seen your pretty face before at training." I stared at him, no one had ever told me I was pretty before. Not that anyone ever really had the chance while I was killing them.
I then glared at him again "Don't tell anyone, or I will personally snap your arm, and since you know who I am, you know that I am dead serious." He put his hands up as though to shield himself, "All right, I won't tell anyone...so, why are you here?" "Um, maybe because I'm on a mission, dumbass," Draco raised his eyebrows again. "Ooh, not very nice are we? What I meant was what's your mission?" "None of your business." I said closing my book and giving him a mock smile.
"Come on, I won't tell anyone." He said anxiously, I shook my head and got up and walked away. He followed me, "Why won't you tell me?" I chuckled a little, he reminded me of a child. "Because, like I said before, it's none of your damn business." "Tell me!" He demanded. I whipped around to face him "Make me!" I challenged him with my icy blue eyes.
Draco moved so fast I didn't know what was happening. In what seemed like a millisecond, he had pushed me against the wall, pinning me against it. A smirk spread across his lips and he leaned really close to me. "Maybe I will," he whipered, his grey eyes staring into mine. I felt something, attraction, I think. Suddenly he let me go. "I'll get it out of you one of these days." He said shrugging.
"Yeah, like you'll ever get that lucky." I said pushing past him and walking away, hoping he didn't notice how I was smiling.
I'm standing on Platform 9 and 3/4 looking at Draco across the platform, thinking of the first time we spoke to eachother, I know he won't recognize me. I've changed my normally straight auburn hair to curly blonde hair, and my once icy blue eyes to light brown. It doesn't sound like I changed much about my appearance, but those two things are what makes me look like a whole other person. I was thinking I should change my nose, too because Draco loved my nose, but I didn't feel like that would be an issue.
I sighed and started towards the Hogwarts Express, repeating over and over in my head that I didn't love Draco or feel anything for him remotely. Then I thought about the name I was going by for this whole stupid year: Lana Noel. I defintely preferred my real name: Natalia Rioland, it fit me.
I searched for an empty compartment, I wasn't in the mood to be around people one bit. I wasn't paying attention, and I bumped into someone, I looked up glaring at the person, it was Draco Malfoy. I was speechless, he was even more good looking than he was two years ago, and his eyes were even more mesmorizing.
I had a sudden urge to kiss him, I had to get away. "Sorry," I muttered and kept walking. "Whatever," I heard him mumble and he kept walking, too.
Finally found an empty compartment and for the whole ride to Hogwarts I thought about Draco. When we arrived, I went with the first years to be sorted. The last time I was sorted, I had to put myself in the mind set of a Gryffindor, because I needed to be a Gryffindor. This time, I kept my mind the same way it always was and I was sorted into Slytherin immidiately.
I took a seat across from Draco. "Welcome to Hogwarts," Draco's friend, Blaise Zabini said to me. "Thanks," I said while thinking what he should have said was "welcome back to Hogwarts"
